After the deafening silence that could make one almost one to collapse, Queen Riley spoke enthusiastically.
"Lets all go have lunch while the prophetess stays with the newlyweds and explain some things to them".
"Ahh.. sure let's go. It's always rare for in laws most especially royalties invite us like this". Michael chuckled lightly as he stood up the moment the kings and queens stood up.
They followed behind them and left the prophetess and the couple alone in the main hall. Once they were gone, Lucas turned to look at Catherine,
"Cathy, why don't you wait for me in our chamber?" He spoke in a more gentler tone.
The prophetess was slightly amazed with the way the prince doted on his wife. She couldn't help but smile and her smile slowly falter when she remembered the most scariest vision she had never seen In years.
Catherine pursed her lips hard. She wanted to also hear what the prophetess and her husband wanted to say. But knowing her husband, he wouldn't allow her especially if it's something dangerous. So she could only comply and stood up to leave when Lucas held her wrist,
"I will tell you what she says." He said in a soft tone that caused her heart to warm up at his gentleness. She felt so warm and at ease knowing her husband will tell her, if not all, with that thought in mind, she left the room leaving only the two of them. The moment she left the room,
Lucas stared coldly at the prophetess and asked without beating round the bush,
"What vision did you see about my wife?"
The prophetess knew the moment she lied, Lucas would definitely not believe her. He didn't joke about his wife. Even if he was a monster, he still won't tolerate his wife being in danger so she could only sigh in surrender.
I actually wanted to tell you. But since you asked yourself I won't beat round the bush and go straight to the point. She said and then the next words she was about to spill out made her sigh deeply before exhaling harshly. So she parted her lips to speak about the scary vision she had seen.
"The vision i saw about your wife was very scary. She is danger". The prophetess said calmly and worriedly.
Lucas raised his eyebrows in confusion.
Even though he was wearing his mask, the prophetess could still make out his confused expression. Strangely, this cold blooded monster eater was showing a confused expression because of his wife? His wife was given a strange and scary fate?
Lucas then asked,
"What type of danger?" He asked with a monotone voice. But for some strange reasons, his heart hadn't been calm since the moment the prophetess utter those words about his dear wife. How could a fragile human like her be a danger?
The prophetess pursed her lips hard before releasing them and said,
"She will be end of all vampires".
Lucas eyes suddenly gleamed in amusement as he didn't expect to hear that. He had been expecting her to say something like she will be his end but this?
As if reading his mind, the vampire prophetess spoke,
"That isn't only what I saw. I saw that she was clapping her hands, smiling and crying but her body was covered in a pool of–––"
Lucas suddenly stood up releasing his dangerous aura cutting off the prophetess words coldly. He didn't want to hear no more.
He had already guessed her last sentence.
How many visions did you see about her? He growled lowly causing the vampire prophetess to sigh deeply. If she wasn't a vampire and immune to his dark and dangerous aura already,she would have died on that spot.
She suddenly gulped hard and slowly stood up bowing her head.
"The only two visions I saw now about her are that she will be end of vampires and the second one was of her clapping her hands, smiling and crying and covered in a pool ––"
DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT PART! ! He sneered angrily as his aura got thicker and heavier in the room.
The prophetess bit her bottom lip hard. She knew how much this prince loves his wife, but how would he protect her if any vampire gets a wind of her vision?
"No one must find out about those two visions, not even my wife". He warned dangerously emitting his powerful aura that could freeze a weak heart.
The prophetess nodded and turned around to leave when Lucas spoke,
"I will protect her no matter what". With that said, he jumped out of the nearest window outside as two black wings came from his back, their dragon-like scales glinting with a fierce, otherworldly beauty. Once he left, the prophetess took in a deep breath before leaving the hall with a blank unreadable expression.
Inside the dinning room,
King Henry and King Edward were discussing seriously. While the rest of the family also are calmly. As they were eating,
Lady Catherine slowly entered the room. She had been waiting for her husband for some and didn't see him, and she was already hungry so she decided to come have lunch. But the moment she stepped in, every one paused their eating and discussions.
"Don't you have manners?" Asked second Queen Riley agitatedly.
Catherine slowly bowed her head and greet the two kings and three Queens on the table. After greeting them, she slowly went to her seat and sat down.
As she sat down to eat, a strong aura suddenly cloaked the room making the people felt icy chills ran down their spines.
"Damn this monster prince for emitting his dark aura". Clara cursed under her breath as Lucas walked in intimidatingly and imposingly into the dinning hall and went to sit next to his wife. After sitting, he didn't wait for anyone and began to serve some meat and veggies on Catherine's plate.
"Eat wife". He said while Catherine felt her heart skipped a beat at his gentle gesture. Her heart felt inexplicably warm and calm and without thinking twice, she slowly picked up her spoon eat. While Lucas also dished his food and began to eat.
The couple didn't wait for the rest of the family to eat and started eating.
This made king Henry furious and slightly embarrassed.
