The winds howled behind them, nearly blowing the abandoned umbrella straight towards their faces. However, Lucas didn't pay attention to any of it. Even not to the soaking wet shirt that was clinging to his skin. But he did try to cover Mia from the rain, not that it was working, but he did try it while internally cursing himself for forgetting the umbrella when he should have brought it with him in this heavy rain.
