Lucas pinched the space between his eyebrows. He was tired as hell and all he needed was a power nap, and yet he couldn't have any of that because he needed to research a bit more on the land that Mrs Harley had placed on the bid, along with the super mall concept that the board members of the company believed in.
He stared at the many documents that kept piling up in his email and let out a curse.
His eyes were aching, and his entire body was screaming at him to lie down and take a rest. But fuck if he had the time or liberty to do that. He tapped on the list that was sent to him regarding the localities near the location where the mall was supposed to be built, when instead of reading it, he turned the mouse over and started looking at the surveillance cameras running.
Though Lucas never believed in intuition and the supernatural, his gut feelings had never been wrong. He didn't know why he had this sudden urge to look at the surveillance, but Lucas didn't ignore it.
