"Do you know them?" Xiao Li's face tightened as the three newcomers appeared. Her instincts screamed that each one was a rare master.
"I know them; they don't know me," Goku said with an easy smile. His gaze returned to the two women. "Didn't expect to see the Yin–Yang Clan's top duo here of all places—Da Siming and Shao Siming. Up close, you're even more stunning…"
Da Siming brushed a lock from her brow, one hand at her slim waist as she struck a deliberately seductive pose. "Oh? Hearing such praise is… delightful."
Shao Siming said nothing. Her right hand traced the air, ripples like water spreading as petals whirled in from nowhere and flowed between her fingers. The faintest edge of killing intent laced the fragrance—impossible to miss for Goku.
"So you plan to fight me? That's awkward," Goku said, amused rather than alarmed.
Shao Siming flicked a finger. Petals screamed through the air like blades, lancing toward Goku.
He casually lifted his hand. When he stopped, every petal was pinched neatly between two fingers.
Shao Siming's brows knit—almost imperceptibly. No one had ever taken her strike so offhandedly. Da Siming, too, let a rare seriousness touch her eyes. "Careful. He's not simple."
"Then I'll leave this to you," Gongshu Chou said, wisely slipping to the side.
"Xiao Li, go after the boy from before. I'll play with them for a bit and catch up," Goku murmured.
"Are you sure?" Xiao Li hesitated. Abandoning a companion to flee alone wasn't her way.
"Relax. With their level, they can't do anything to me. I'm just… sparring."
Xiao Li studied him, saw only calm—and the slightest glint of curiosity. Convinced he meant it, she nodded. "Be careful." She vaulted to the rooftops and bounded away.
"Think you can leave under my nose so easily?" Gongshu Chou sneered, raising his mechanical arm to trigger something.
A blast of force hit him before his finger reached the catch. He slammed into a stone wall with a sickening crunch, spat blood, and went limp, unconscious.
"Anyone who lays a finger on Xiao Li, will die," Goku said mildly, sweeping the ring of Qin soldiers with his gaze. Spines went cold. Faces dropped. No one dared test him.
'What terrifying eyes… Who is he? When did the jianghu gain someone like this?' Da Siming's tone lost its languor. Crimson energy pooled between her palms, spinning into a yin–yang taiji seal before exploding outward as a storm of blood-red blades streaking at Goku.
Goku blurred. He was suddenly behind her, voice teasing and light. "Opening with the Yin–Yang Joint Seal? Looks like you're taking this seriously. Good."
The blades shredded a wall instead, peppering it with holes before the whole face collapsed.
"So fast!" Da Siming sprang back, red light spearing from her hands in a beam aimed straight at Goku's chest.
"Every move lethal, huh? Trying to take my life?" Goku smiled and met it with a casual palm. The beam ruptured in a scarlet mist.
He tilted his head. A whip braided from flower petals skimmed past his ear. "Hey now—going for the head? Good thing I ducked," he said to Shao Siming.
She remained silent, expression unreadable. Petals and leaves flowed at her fingertips like water, coalescing into a taiji sigil.
"Mm? Myriad Leaves, Flying Blossoms Flow? You do rate me—you're opening with a finisher." Goku slid back, watching her without a trace of tension.
"Hmph. You seem to know our Yin–Yang arts quite well," Da Siming said, fingers flashing through seals as blood-hued qi roared between her hands.
"Don't tell me… Skull-Blood Hand Seal? Need you be this earnest?" Goku sighed. He hadn't meant to escalate. But the ease with which he'd broken their earlier techniques had shoved him straight into their "extreme threat" box; holding back would be foolish—for them.
A giant blood-red skull shot from Da Siming's hands.
Opposite, Shao Siming's leaves turned edge-bright. With a soft tremor of her wrists, the sky became blades—Myriad Leaves unleashed—shrilling toward Goku like meteors.
"I just wanted to play a little. Why so desperate?" Goku shook his head. He has clenched his right fist and punched casually. The pressure alone shattered the skull and swept the leaf-storm apart—then kept going. The shockfront hit both women like a hammer and flung them backward, eyes wide with honest fright. This was beyond anything they'd imagined—nowhere near a fair match.
Just before they crashed through masonry, arms wrapped their waists. In the next instant they were set down safely on a distant street. Goku flicked his hand; the raging gust died as if it had never been.
"I only wanted to trade a few moves—no need to go all out," he said evenly. "Let's call it here. I have business." He waved and turned away.
He'd taken two steps when he stopped.
"Aren't you leaving?" Da Siming asked, brushing her bangs aside, sinuous and sultry even now—though her voice was cold.
Shao Siming stood like still water.
"I show mercy, and you answer with killing moves. What should I call that… befitting of Da Siming?" Goku faced her again, expression darkening.
"Heh. People of the Yin–Yang Clan are extremely dangerous—didn't you hear? Especially after skin contact," Da Siming said, hand on hip, every line inviting while the air beneath froze. A deadly viper in silk: lure above, fangs below.
"I'll give you one chance. Remove the curse you planted. Otherwise… don't regret it," Goku said, cool as ever.
"So you noticed? Too late. Once the Six Souls Fear Curse takes hold, there is no cure. The moment you circulate your qi, not even an immortal can save you," Da Siming replied, voice flat—as if lives were mere counters to slide across a board.
"Hey, beauty—no grudge between us. How about lifting it?" Goku looked to Shao Siming.
She slowly shook her head.
"Then you leave me no choice." Goku sighed—and in a flicker both women were in his arms, caught at the waist. He grinned, wickedly playful. "Ready to accept your punishment?"
"What… what are you going to do?" Both Siming stiffened, a bad premonition knotting in their chests.
"How to punish disobedient girls… that's the question."
Held fast, the two looked suddenly small—lambs in a wolf's hold. No matter how they struggled, they couldn't break the iron band of his arm.
Worse, their inner force wouldn't answer. It felt sealed away by some external power.
"What did you do to us?" Da Siming's poise had cooled to ice. Panic didn't touch her face, but it nipped at her heart.
Shao Siming stayed silent, violet eyes carrying a faint, sorrowful glaze as she regarded him—pressure enough to make Goku's scalp prickle.
"Don't look at me like that. You'll make me feel bad about this," he muttered.
She kept staring, unreadable.
"Hmph! I won't go soft. You tried to kill me." He broke eye contact—those eyes were lethal in their own right.
"I clearly laid the Six Souls Fear Curse on you. Why are you fine?" Da Siming asked, confusion finally threading her cold tone. She trusted her craft. Even if he could break it, not so quickly—unless she'd somehow botched it?
"Please. A little hex? I'm immune," Goku said, shameless. "My body shrugs off poison and curses. None of that works on me."
It wasn't entirely bluster. With his divine constitution, toxins and hexes were useless. The instant her curse entered, his cells erased it. Yes, he was still injured—but if this could hurt him, he might as well find a rock and headbutt it.
"A physique like that exists?" Da Siming blinked, then recovered her languid drawl. "Since you're fine, how about letting us go? Didn't you say it was just a friendly bout?"
"Nice try." Goku flashed teeth, hopped to a deserted rooftop with them, and set them down. "No people, no eyes—perfect spot to do bad things."
"What do you intend?" For once, the fearless duo paled. The implication was… troubling.
Da Siming's voice went winter-cold. "If you touch us, I'll hunt you to the ends of the earth."
"Oh? Still threatening me?" Goku crouched, fingers waggling toward her with exaggerated villainy.
"You lecher—get away!" Da Siming snapped, frosty mask cracking with honest fluster.
