Chapter 186 - Chapter 185: Reunion

"It's the boss! We'll avenge you right now!" a group of minotaurs roared, their voices shaking the sky.

"Damn it! Your IQ is way too low… you might as well go live on Ox Star…" Taurus looked at them with a face full of disappointment.

"No, Boss! In life we're your men, in death we're your ghosts!" the minotaurs howled miserably.

"Boss, your skill in managing underlings is amazing! Look at that loyalty—absolutely solid!" the strategist stepped forward at this point, buttering him up.

"Of course… who do you think I am?" Taurus said proudly, then sighed. "But their low IQ really is their fatal flaw…"

"Boss… your intelligence is too high for us to understand!" the minotaurs stared at him. One of them asked, puzzled, "Boss, what does it mean when you say 'your second one is fine, but your second one got chopped'? Which 'second one' are we supposed to avenge for you?"

"What?! Does the boss have two 'second ones'? That's insane!"

"Boss is boss! I admire you so much…"

Taurus's face twitched. He turned to look at that minotaur and said, "What's your name?"

"Reporting to Boss! I'm shaggy" the minotaur announced proudly.

"You almost scared me to death… what a name! Awesome!" Taurus gave him a thumbs-up, looking impressed.

"Hahaha! The boss praised me!" Shaggy shouted excitedly.

"Alright, enough nonsense. Let's go meet up with my second son… or he'll really get chopped…" Taurus shouted, leading everyone off at a run.

"Whoa! Boss's second one can split off a clone? That's incredible!" The minotaurs looked at Taurus with eyes full of worship.

Running at the front, Taurus's face twitched again. Having a high IQ was truly exhausting.

---

In a secluded valley, two groups faced each other down. To call them "two groups" wasn't quite right—one side had over a dozen people, while the other had only one, who lay on the ground some distance away, blood at the corner of his mouth and a pale face. Clearly, he was badly injured.

He bore a strong resemblance to Taurus—about seventy percent alike—big, strong, and simple-looking, clearly the kind of person whose muscles outweighed his brains.

This was Orion, Taurus's second son.

Opposite him stood a figure who looked somewhat like Oxley—this was Orley, the only son of Oxley.

"Orion, you're unbelievable. You actually called your dad into this! We agreed—no relying on our fathers!" Orley stared at Orion, who had just set his phone down. The guy had called for backup when he wasn't looking.

Taurus was recognized as the strongest warrior on Minotara Star—the legendary berserker who had once saved the planet. But this hero was also notoriously hot-tempered; a single wrong word and he'd solve things with his fists. Orley's own father had been beaten by Taurus many times, which was why the younger generation didn't get along either.

"Hmph! Who's relying on dads? You're the despicable one—ganging up on me with all these people and even tricking my brother away… how could I not call for help?" Orion shouted angrily.

"Eh? Look up there—what's that?"

A minotaur suddenly pointed to the sky in surprise.

Everyone looked up to see a round spacecraft cutting through the atmosphere, descending toward them.

"That's… a spaceship?!" Orley frowned.

"Spaceship? It looks more like a giant egg…" Orion muttered.

Hearing Orion's words, Orley's brows twitched. Like father, like son! But he was already used to it, so he said nothing, only watching the descending ship warily.

"Over there—let's check it out…" Orley led his companions toward the landing site.

Orion hesitated for a moment, then struggled to his feet and followed…

The ship landed slowly, its hatch opened, and Goku stood at the doorway, looking at the group of minotaurs. His gaze settled on Orion.

"Taurus? No… just looks a bit like him…"

"Wow, are these aliens? They look so strange!"

"They look like the Earthlings the elders talked about. Are they from Earth?"

"If they're Earthlings, then they're not our enemies, right?"

The minotaurs stared curiously at Goku and his group, their hostility fading.

Behind Goku, the women were also peering out in fascination.

"Hey, you're the ones who look strange—like a bunch of minotaurs!" Zi Yan snapped when she heard their chatter.

"So these are Minotara people? They really do look like minotaurs…" Ya Fei's eyes sparkled with wonder—this was their first time seeing aliens.

"You all stay here for now," Goku told the women, then stepped out of the ship. He looked at Orion and asked calmly, "What's your name?"

"Uh… me? I'm Orion…"

"Orion? What's Taurus to you?"

"Of course he's my dad! Wait—do you know my dad? Are you friends from Earth?" Orion's eyes widened. Minotara Star considered Earth a friendly world; the elders often said their planet had once been saved by a great Earthling—who, as it happened, was his father's boss!

"Oh? I didn't expect that idiot Taurus to have a son…" Goku said in mild surprise.

"Hey! Even if you're a friend from Earth, don't call my dad an idiot… or you'll regret it…" Orion said seriously.

Just as Goku was about to speak again, a thunderous roar echoed from not far away. The ground shook as a group armed with various weapons charged toward them. The leader leapt forward like a cannonball, landing with a boom that cracked the earth.

"Awesome, Boss!"

"Boss! Your entrance is off the charts!"

"You're making us squeal out loud here!"

The minotaurs cheered and clapped.

"I… I'd never dare call you that… it was him… he called you…" Orley trembled, pointing quickly at Goku. He knew very well how terrifying Taurus's strength was; you did not offend this monster.

"Hm? This kid looks a little familiar…" Taurus turned and looked at Goku in confusion.

"Boss! Doesn't he look a lot like our old boss?" the strategist whispered.

"Boss?" Taurus's eyes went wide. He turned back to Goku, visibly excited. "Now that you mention it, he really does look like him! Kid, what's your name?"

"Goku," Goku said with a faint, teasing smile.

"No way! Even the name's the same! You're definitely the old boss's son!" Taurus shouted in excitement and lunged at Goku as if to hug him.

Goku frowned, sprang upward, and lashed out with a kick. With a bang, Taurus was sent flying in front of the stunned minotaurs and crashed headfirst into the ground, leaving a massive crater.

"You bastard! How dare you hit my dad!" Orion roared, his aura flaring as he prepared to strike.

"Stop!" Taurus pulled his head out of the earth like a turnip, then strode over to Goku, laughing heartily. "This temper—exactly like the old boss. That kick brings back memories of thirty years ago, when I fought alongside him…"
