Chapter 62
Ark feels a chill down his back. He thinks, 'What was that?'
But the Samurai ghost lands on the planet, about one hundred meters away, all the ghost soldiers standing behind him, he raises his sword up in the air, then he says;
"Kill them all."
But the army behind him just disappears, no screaming, no running, no one even taking some kind of weapon out, they just simply disappear. Then the Samurai also turns into smoke and disappears, is like everything was just their imagination, no sign of the army.
But then they feel the temperature lowering, in a few moments ice starts appearing on the ground, then a fog appears all around them, and is like all the sounds in the world just disappeared, they can even hear their own heart beating. Then some figures can be seen flying in the fog, but now they have almost no skin on them, they are only bones, and their eyes can't be seen anymore, is only a blackness there, and their teeth are like shark's teeth.
But they only fly around them, is like they are waiting for something. Ark says;
"I think they are making a seal on the ground, they are not flying just to fly, they are drawing a seal. And by the feel it gives, it's a pretty strong one. If we wait for the seal to be completed, we will be in trouble, because then the crazy women will have all the time she needs to curse us, and i mean 'All' of us.
Morven then thinks about who would have the powers to make Ark so edgy. And he can think about only one woman who ticks all the squares.
"Hollow Cipher? Are you talking about Hollow Cipher? That crazy woman is here? I run into her one time; she was playing with one Dimension Ruler and i mean a really powerful one. She was playing with him like he was a small child. She cursed him that every time he uses his aura, he would turn little by little into a frog, the longer he uses his aura the faster the transformation. Until he couldn't take the humiliation the others put him through anymore because they knew he couldn't use his powers. But one day he snapped and used his aura to kill everyone in the city, and that turned him fully into a frog, then Hollow appeared and just took the frog with her, not caring about the dead people or that she turned a Dimension Ruler into a frog, a Dimension Ruler."
The others turn to Morven shocked, someone so dangerous is here? And if her curses work even on Dimension Rulers, then what chance do we have to survive her curses? Ark then says;
"Yeah, that one, the problem is that once she completes her curse, is almost impossible to avoid it. But she needs time, and something from the target to be able to complete the curse. So be careful about even one hair of yours, because if her monsters get it, and manage to give it to her, then you can be sure that you will be cursed. The only one who doesn't need to worry about the curses is Calyx, that necklace around her neck protects her, so she will be on the front lines against her. So, Calyx go and see if your Domain can beat theirs."
All turn towards her and their eyes says, 'I'm glad that I'm not the one going against her. Good luck!'
Calyx just shakes her head and then raises her hands, immediately beneath and above her a green energy starts to spread, that makes the ice and fog to back off but is not so simple because the ghosts also fight back against her Domain. But slowly she starts to beat the ghosts, her Domain starts expanding more and more. But then the Samurai intervenes, he sends his aura into the ice Domain and immediately it pushes back the green Domain.
Calyx then starts to make new tree soldiers and vines soldiers, because the army that she came with, was killed by the white ghosts, the ones that landed on the planet were only the 'Elite'.
And the rest of the enemies were almost decimated by Melody alone, so they didn't dare to come anywhere near where she was. They are waiting, hidden like rats to strike from the dark. The only Armies remaining are the Ghosts and the new emerging Green Army. But the green army are too few, they can't actually make a difference at the moment. So Calyx turns towards the rest and says;
"A little help would be appreciated, unless you want the Seal to be finished."
The rest also were thinking the same thing, Elliot takes his bow out and pulls the string back, then immediately all kinds of arrows fly out, fire, vines, soul, earth spikes, air blades arrows.
But they don't make any damage to the ghosts, they only destroy the Earth around, Elliot stops firing with a raised eyebrow, and says;
"That is a first, my arrows didn't do any damage, what are these ghosts?"
Then the rest of them try and no one manages to make any damage, all are shocked, no kind of power affects these ghosts, what are they?
But only know they see that the ghosts also doesn't attack them, they are only fighting against the green Domain, all start to put two with two together. Then they hear Ark;
"These are not real in any way, they are just some remnants of the past, that were enslaved by the power of the curses. They are not able to hurt the living or to touch anything, they can only make a Domain to try and seal anything that stands in it. The ones who are in the void of space are the ones who are souls who pledged their allegiance to 'The Cursed One', they can hurt you and kill you, and those can be destroyed."
Zmaug then say;
"Great, then what can we do with these whites here? Do we only watch how they finish their seal? why don't we run in different directions until we get out? They can't stop us."
But Niobe answers;
"Try it, but i bet that you will came back exactly here. No matter how much you run, this fog is not for nothing there, it acts as a space loop, that will send you always back here."
Zmaug looks at her and then just turns to his Dragon Form 1, and takes flight, in a second, he can't be seen anymore. But after a few moments he appears again from the right side of where they are.
He just turns back and says;
"Well, it seems Niobe is right. But then how do we get out?"
Morven then says something;
"I think the only way is if we manage too somehow support Calyx's Domain, then we will be able to get out without letting these ghosts having something of ours."
The others nod and they raise their hands towards Calyx, then they start to send their aura towards her, that makes a difference the green Domain again starts to expand, but then something happens, the Samurai appears in front of them, and says something;
"leaS. roFruoneeuQ."
Then everything stops for a second, completely stops. No one is moving, not even their thoughts. For them they hear the Samurai screaming then they see them becoming smoke in front of them, that is all, then the Domain breaks apart and disappears. The ghosts giving their energy and all what they have for that second. But they managed to do what they were sent for. They took something in that second and sent it in the void.
The others feel something wrong, something doesn't add up, for what was all of that, if they didn't do anything, but then they hear Ark;
"We were played, all of this play wasn't anything but to stall us, we were wrong, she never did need something for us, she already had it. She only wanted time, and she got time. And i think they also managed to take something from us, they took a hair from Melody. She wants to use her against me."
Serak then says;
"So, what she needed she already had it, now she was only playing with us, to stall for time? And not only that she succeeded, but she also managed to take something extra, Melody's hair."
Ark nods and says;
"Yeah, that pretty much sums it up, and i know that she had something from us because someone from us is already cursed."
The others look at one another shocked, but they can't find anything different, all looks and feels the same. Then they look towards Melody, she had her hair taken. But Melody says;
"I'm not cursed, i am feeling fine. And i can use my powers just fine, i really don't feel anything wrong."
Then all turn towards Ark, a really bad feeling comes over them. How is Ark so sure that someone is cursed if they all feel fine, they think, 'It can't be.'
"Yeah, i am cursed, i can't use my powers anymore."
