Chapter 61
Ark smiles and nods, then he says;
"A really wise choice, i knew you were smart enough. The crazy woman will hide in the dark at first, she will search for a window, to put a curse on me. That means she needs enough time, that is where you come in, you won't give her this opportunity, you will always be there to stop her."
Calyx looks at him and again she has a bad feeling about all of this, something doesn't add up, she heard something about a crazy woman like what Ark is talking about, 'Please, don't be the crazy woman I'm thinking about.' She asks;
"Who is this crazy woman? Because i heard about someone similar to what you say, but she can't be the one you are talking about."
Ark again smiles, and says;
"Exactly, Hollow Cipher is coming, 'The Cursed One'. And she will be here stalking in about a day, so you have work to do, you need to prepare for her coming."
Calyx receives another under blow, her face looks like she wants to scream, but she is not allowed. She wants to run, but she knows that is going to be the last thing she will ever do.
"She will curse me in a second, then i will die in horrible ways, i don't want to go against that crazy woman, i would rather fight the 'Old One' than her, at least i know i will die a fast death. But with her, i will only suffer."
Ark shakes his head and says;
"Of course i know that, i won't let you be cursed so easily, i will give you something that will allow you to protect yourself."
Then he takes out a necklace, that are just some white beads on a string, but this necklace gives off a rejecting aura, like nothing can get too close to it.
"This will help you against the curses, it will reject them, and if you use it wisely, it can even give you the chance to get close to 'The Cursed One'. Close enough to maybe even hit her."
Calyx looks at it and feels the power of rejection, it could really work, she feels that is powerful. So, she starts to walk towards Ark, she gets close enough and says while taking it from him;
"With this i can help you to keep the crazy woman at bay, for now. But she will find another way to give you troubles. And once she knows she can't get close to you she will target your close ones."
Ark just shrugs and says;
"I will deal with her later, i only need to keep her away for now. You don't have to worry about her going to my close ones. She won't make it so far."
Then he turns his head to the void and sees some silhouettes approaching, the gang will be reunited soon he thinks.
He then goes back to join the killing; Calyx looks around her and starts to send some small seeds all around the void, but after flying for a while, these seeds burrow into the space and just disappear, she sends Millions of these seeds all around the place. After the seed burrows, after a while a black flower blooms in the folds of space, and Calyx can use these flowers to see everywhere, the moment something even vibrates close to the flower, it sends a signal back to her, like a spider web, she feels every small thing, so now she only needs to wait for Hollow.
After a while the rest of the gang reaches the planet, without a moment to spare, they also start to kill the enemies, now with the new force into the game, it immediately throws their game haywire, especially Melody and her cube, she kills more than all of them combined.
She looks at the enemies that are in the millions and thinks, 'Great now i won't have to worry about feeding the cube.'
She also takes some of her robots out, and that makes the killing even easier, then she also arms herself and that throws everything into an even greater chaos, the cube just floats and eats the bodies that Melody destroys, at one moment the killing becomes so great that all just stop and look at her.
The gang goes back to the planet and just watch how Melody kills Millions at a alarming pace with no sign of tiredness or problems.
With the cube, now she has infinite energy, if the cube is feed, Melody won't run out of juice. And the more energy she has, the more powerful she becomes, and the more she kills, the more energy for the cube to feed on. That makes a vicious cycle that turns her with each passing second more and more powerful.
All just look with an amazed look at the 'Destruction' that is Melody. Even them need to watch their energy level, but here the more she uses, the more she has. That is pure cheating, who can fight for months with no worry about their energy levels. That is madness. Wars are her playground.
Morven looks with a wary look at the newcomer and for a moment he tries picturing fighting her. And he is not sure he can win against her. That is a scary conclusion. He is almost as old as the Universe, he was a Dimension Ruler, and he can't imagine himself winning against a little girl not even one fraction of his age. Of course, that is if they fight fair and square. But if they fight dirty, he has a few tricks up his sleeve. He asks;
"Who is she? She is more powerful than even some old monsters that lived more than this Universe. She looks scarier also."
The others are on the same page, Serak was thinking the same thing, the other big guys look at melody like at a stranger. So much more powerful she became. Ark answers;
"She is my little sister Melody Ember."
Morven just nods in understanding. Then he starts to look between Ark and Melody thinking, 'If she is so strong, then how much stronger is he? That is unbelievable, i really did the right choice to follow him. My instincts weren't wrong.'
After fighting for a few minutes, Melody cleared most of the enemies, then she lets her robots to clean the battlefield, and she goes down to the others.
When she lands, she sees all of them looking at her like at a 'Monster'. She laughs and says;
"What is it guys? Did the cat get your tongue? Why didn't any of you helped me in the fight?"
"And big brother, i didn't forget about your visit to the next Dimension. I will gladly help you to get there."
Ark just smiles and starts whistling, then he says;
"Serak, Morven, i still didn't see the full extensions of your powers. But you are lucky because my little sister here can help you with that. She also wants to test her powers. And Morven i did say i want to see what you're capable of, so now is the perfect occasion."
Morven and Serak looks at Ark and for a moment they don't know if they should laugh. But they see his face and know that he is not joking, he really wants them to fight with his little sister.
Melody starts to become even more angrier, she says;
"If you two don't want to die, then back off."
Serak and Morven for a moment don't know if they should cry now, they are between a rock and a hard place.
But they are also not afraid, if it comes to that, they can always run from Ark, but right now Melody looks even scarier than him.
Ark feels the atmosphere around and knows that the two of them won't dare to go against Melody. But then just in time he is saved by the bell;
"Ark, i feel someone approaching, i think they are the crazy woman's men, but i can barely feel them. In a few moments they will be here, they are fast."
Melody looks at Calyx with eyes that says, 'I will deal with you later'. She takes a breath to calm down and then she asks;
"I am Melody Ember, who are you guys? And why are you helping my brother?"
Morven and the others look at one another and then they introduce themselves, saying that all of them has some kind of beef with the Celestials. Then Calyx intervenes;
"I don't have any beef with them, i was recruited against my will."
Melody and the others look at her, then at Ark. They see him whistling, like nothing is his fault.
But then they all feel someone approaching, they turn their heads towards the void and see the white like ghost's figures, they are led by a white like samurai figure that is on a horse, the rest are flying behind him. They also have spaceships for traveling, but they are not that fast as them flying with their own powers, spaceships are used more when someone wants to travel in comfort through space. Their powers and bodies being a thousand times faster than the fastest spaceship.
And in a hidden space, Hollow sees all on her monitors, when she sees Ark she says;
"I will have my revenge, i will make you suffer hundredfold more than i did."
