June POV:
I don't know how long I stayed there, staring at the door to Justin's place, but at some point, my body just gave up on me. It was like I was too tired to keep my eyes open. I must've drifted off, leaning against the door, too exhausted to fight the sleep creeping up on me. The next thing I know, I'm falling forward.
Justin had opened the door, and since I was leaning on it like a fucking idiot, I just collapsed right into him. Thank God I didn't fall straight through; I bumped into his legs instead. It was almost like a weird half-fall, and I swear I almost died of embarrassment right there.
I scrambled to my feet quickly, forcing a big smile on my face like it hadn't just happened. "Uh... hey," I started to say, but before I could finish, I started sneezing like an old witch with a cold. It wouldn't stop. I had caught a cold—probably because of him. All that time outside, no jacket, freezing my ass off while he shut me out.
