"What have I become?
A monster? A killing machine?
It's funny… Me, who used to hate the sight of blood, now feeling nothing but joy at having spilled so much of it."
A sly smirk traced her lips.
She turned around, locking her gaze onto him.
There he was, crawling, desperately trying to escape.
"Where do you think you're going, filthy insect? I didn't give you permission to crawl, you vermin."
She raised her hand, and with a stomp of her foot, the air grew heavy.
Dust particles lifted into the space around them, the atmosphere darkened. The blood of the corpses began to rise, following the movement of the dust.
Within a single drop of blood, every red cell mutated, strengthening, hardening like iron. A whole flow of blood, turning the color of steel, merged with every speck of dust in the air. This liquid was then drawn into her hand, which she clenched shut with a sudden motion.
Instantly, her eyes changed color, turning completely black.
She continued to stare at the man, head tilted, wearing that eerie, signature grin of hers.
"Demon, get away from me… GET LOST, YOU DAUGHTER OF LUCIFER… GO ROT IN HELL!"
"SILENCE!"
The man fell silent, terror filling his eyes.
In the blink of an eye, the girl was standing before him.
With a mere gesture, she lifted him into the air, suspending him above her.
"You dare call me a demon? Then what does that make you? You slaughtered an ENTIRE CITY, JUST FOR YOUR OWN AMUSEMENT. All because you lost a simple game…"
The man's eyes widened in shock.
"Th-that's… impossible… Y-you should… be… d-dead…!"
"Oh, how cute. So you do remember me after all."
The girl's expression shifted. She vanished and reappeared instantly, right before his face.
She kissed one of her fingers and gently pressed it against the man's lips.
"See you in hell."
A black line traced itself across the man's lips, suddenly spreading over half of his body. His entire frame trembled violently.
He could feel the unbearable pain surging through him, yet he couldn't die.
The girl watched him with an amused smile, savoring his suffering. She licked her lips and, grinning sweetly, said,
"Oh yes… (soft laughter) we'll meet again in hell."
The man let out a bloodcurdling scream.
He could feel his cells bursting, one by one, as if thousands of needles were piercing through him all at once.
He felt his neurons disconnecting, severed as if by a razor-sharp chainsaw.
His fibers stretched, his ligaments tore, his muscles seized in unbearable cramps.
His bones cracked like brittle twigs.
His flesh shredded like paper being slowly torn apart.
This torment lasted an entire hour, until, finally, the girl stepped forward and crushed what remained of him beneath her foot.
"And yes, it's because of all of you that I became the demon I am today. And I will hunt you down, one by one, until none of you are left."
She walked forward, her footsteps echoing along the prison corridor.
Her eyes returned to their original color as she raised her hand.
"YES, UNTIL THE LAST ONE—NO EXCEPTIONS. EVERY SINGLE ONE, WITHOUT MERCY!"
With those final words, she vanished into a cloud of black smoke, leaving behind only the sound of her innocent, crystalline laughter.
