Third person point of view
Dev took out his phone and called Aravind. Aravind picked it up wondering why Dev was calling him. It was a little late but he was watching a movie. " Hello ? " Smrithi moved forward, trying to push the phone out of Dev's hand. Aravind could hear the music in the background. It wasn't loud but if one paid attention they would hear it.
" What can he do ? I don't know how he is better than me. Just have a taste and you will not be able to go to him again ". She kept pulling his hands, not letting him go. Aravind was able to hear all of it. He immediately stood up. " No way. Let me go ". Dev drank quite an amount so all the movement was starting to make him dizzy.
He tried his best to push her away. " Don't. UGH. NO ". Dev yelled loudly and the phone fell on the ground with a dull thud. Aravind picked up his wallet and a jacket. He hung up and booked a taxi. He walked out and went to the taxi. He went to the house in 20 minutes. He couldn't stop feeling anxious. He got out and asked the driver to wait to go back.
The driver agreed. Aravind rushed into the house and went looking around. He could say they weren't on that floor. The music was too muted in the call. He quickly went up to the above floor. He called Dev's phone again and put his ear to the door to hear it. He went to two doors and there was no result.
He went to the third door and he could hear it and also Dev's voice. Aravind tried opening the door but it was locked. He looked around and took a step back. He raised his leg and gave it one hard kick. The door burst open. Both of them inside froze. People would think Aravind was on the weaker side as he didn't have a lot of muscle.
But Atharva trained him in boxing and some martial art skills. So he would even be stronger if he had to. Dev was being pushed down on the bed by Smrithi. He didn't know why she had so much strength. Dev pushed her away when she froze and went to Aravind. Aravind immediately hugged him. Dev's hold kept getting tighter.
His breathing was also frantic. " It is fine. I am here now ". Aravind said and patted Dev's back. He glared at Smrithi who looked shocked. Dev pulled away and Aravind buttoned up his shirt properly for him. He picked up Dev's phone which was on the ground and put it in his pocket. He took off his coat and put it on Dev.
He went to Smrithi. He raised his hand and slapped her. He knew his strength would come off too strong, so he tried his best to control it. But still her cheek turned red. The way his blood was rushing through his veins made him really want to break her into two. She held her cheek looking down.
" He might be a nice guy, so he actually didn't hit you. I am not like him. You should be lucky I went easy on you. If I see you again, I won't spare you ". Aravind warned and Smrithi felt a chill up her spine. His voice wasn't loud but the tone was too strong and cold. He put his hand around Dev and took him back home.
The taxi ride was quiet. They reached their home, walked in and went to the bedroom. Aravind turned to Dev. " Want to take a shower ? I will help you ". He offered and Dev nodded. They both stripped and entered the shower. Aravind washed Dev's body and then did his. Dev hugged him and Aravind could feel him trembling.
He hugged back. " It is fine. You won't see her again. I don't know if saying to forget it all thinking of it as a bad dream would be right or not. She is the filthy one here. I hope you remember that ". Dev pulled away and nodded. " I don't feel that way, but I was just scared ". Aravind smiled and held his face.
" No one can do anything to you as long as I am there ". Dev smiled and hugged Aravind again. He let out a few tears and Aravind cajoled him. Dev sniffled and pulled away. Aravind scowled. " Since when did you become such a cry baby ? " Dev chuckled. Aravind smiled and they washed up. They walked out and dressed up.
The both of them slept on the bed and Dev hugged Aravind. Aravind kissed Dev's forehead. Dev nuzzled against Aravind and fell asleep. The next day was Sunday and the both of them had the day off. Dev woke up and saw Aravind was still sleeping. He slowly got up and rotated his neck. He went to the bathroom and finished his things.
When he walked out, he saw Aravind was sitting on the bed. Aravind just woke up. He smiled up at Dev who smiled back. Aravind also went to the bathroom and did his things. He walked out and saw Dev who just walked into the bedroom. Dev walked to Aravind and stood in front of him. Aravind hugged him tightly.
Dev hugged him back. " What happened ? " Dev asked, wondering if something happened. " I am not that good with words. But if you are not feeling good or anything, just tell me and talk to me. Don't keep it to yourself. I am always there for you ". Dev smiled. He pulled away and Aravind kissed him.
Dev also kissed back. The both of them pulled away when Dev's phone rang. He took it out of his pocket. Aravind wondered why he had it in his pocket. He was about to move away but Dev put his hand around Aravind's waist without letting him go. So he just stood there. Dev picked up the call and it was his mother.
" Hello ". " What are you doing ? " His mother asked. " Me ? " Dev asked back, looking at Aravind. " Making grandchildren for you ". Dev answered and pecked Aravind on his lips. Aravind's eyes went wide. He glared at Dev and gave him a light punch. Dev let out a muffled groan. Aravind walked away from him.
Dev rubbed his stomach. His mother gave a hum. " I don't mind it as long as the kids are not like you. I had enough with one of you. So I want the kids to be like Aravind ". Dev scoffed and walked to Aravind. Aravind was organizing the desk which was super messy. Dev continued to talk to his mother.
" He is only well behaved in front of you. And who is your son ? " He held Aravind's right hand and twisted it towards the back startling him. Aravind looked back at him not knowing what to say. " Do you not even love me ? " Dev asked the both of them at the same time. " That is why I am still with you ".
Aravind said and his mother also spoke at the same time. " Wouldn't I have disowned you by now if I didn't ? " Dev scoffed. " The both of you are awesome people ". " Is Aravind there ? Give it to him ". His mother sounded excited and Dev let Aravind go. He gave the phone to him. Aravind smiled and talked to her.
Dev went and sat on the bed as he watched Aravind talk to his mother with a smile. Aravind finished and hung up. " I should also call my parents in the evening ". He gave the phone back to Dev. Dev nodded. They spent the day just lazing around.
