Chapter 238 - )—Author POV—(

— — — — — —

)—A/POV—(

Midnight.

In a cramped little room.

A pair of hands hammered away at a keyboard, the rapid clack-clack-clack filling the silence. Words streamed across the glowing monitor.

"The Seven Deadly Sins… yeah, that works. Perfect setup here…"

"This is my own world, hahaha—I can add anything I want and write whatever I like."

"What's wrong with these comment warriors? Can't they leave me in peace to write?"

"A filler, they say? No, no—don't call it filler. This is plot development. I'm giving the protagonist a nice little buff. Let's start him off with Lust. That way, every time a female character sees him, she gets flushed, weak in the knees, and… well, yeah, harem mod. As for the other six sins…"

"Boom, one crystal each, blown up on cue. When the Lord of Ecstasy drags the world into a grand finale explosion, I'll let the six sins scatter across worlds."

"Six crystals. Six sins. Each one opens up a whole new world to explore. Keep it lean, twenty chapters per world. Six times twenty… a hundred and twenty chapters, clean. God, I'm a genius!"

"Even if some people realize I'm milking them for money, so what? I'll be near the end anyway. Maybe I should add more Patreon tiers for extra milking… hmm. Oh, oh! And if I post every two days instead of daily, I could stretch this out for a whole year. Hahaha!"

Just then, a notification popped up—an email. He quickly opened it. He'd been waiting for this.

"Huh? What do they mean there's no bug? I can't edit my published chapters, can't delete them. Sometimes it's not even me writing parts of it!"

He recalled when he was working on the Harley Quinn part. Out of nowhere, words started appearing by themselves.

Luckily, the email had a support number attached. And without hesitation, he dialed.

『Support』: Hello sir, how can I help you today?

『Author』: In chapter 210, 'That Harley Quinn,' I can't edit it or even delete it.

『Support』: Sir, I just checked. The editing features are enabled. Nothing seems wrong.

『Author』: Huh? I'm telling you—the words showed up on their own when I was writing about Harley Quinn. She insulted me, called me a trashy, pervy author. Then she ended the conversation with three marks (— — —).

『Author』: I couldn't change what she said or go back to DC in this chapter after that—the words just get erased!

『Support』: …

『Support』: What do you mean, sir?

『Author』: M-Maybe she has the power to break the fourth wall?

『Support』: …I hope you get better soon, sir. Wishing you good health.

The support man hung up. He wasn't paid enough to deal with someone's mental breakdown.

"..."

"Damn it. I didn't even mention all the drafts I never posted… because Harley Quinn kept spamming words into them."

"Sigh~ Guess I'll watch some p*rn to blow off this stress."

---

From the screen displaying the book: 'Chat Group: Traits, Gacha, and Crossovers', someone was watching the man as he prepared to switch to a tab that was definitely not for children.

It was Veyron, who had broken the fourth wall with the help of the Void and slipped into this place. He wasn't fully here in the flesh, but he could still pull off a few tricks.

Veyron: "..."

"…So that's the "author," huh?"

"No wonder. I land in this world, and the so-called Lord of Ecstasy just happens to descend—down to the very millisecond. Like he was waiting for me to show up or something. No wonder his timing felt so weird. He could've descended years ago, but instead he just… waited for no reason at all."

"Tsk. And no wonder the chat group only had me as a man."

"Author, huh? I don't like someone else having power over my life. I will fix our problems. No need to worry."

Before the strange laws of that world could snuff out his divine will, Veyron poured all his power into one trait: [Dimensional Wall Break (Red)].

Back when Harley Quinn broke the 4th wall and started talking to the author, Veyron had noticed.

Even the unpublished drafts were stored in her memory, so he knew everything that happened, and by analyzing Harley and her bizarre trait, he managed to copy it as [4th Wall Break (Orange)].

From there, he refined it, evolving the skill to gold… and finally to red. A power that could shatter every wall.

In fact, when he once encountered the invisible wall in the Void — one so immovable he couldn't even scratch it — he began to wonder: what if that was that wall? So he activated his trait, and to his surprise, even the Void itself helped him break through the dimensional wall.

Now, did anyone think he was just a pervert who liked spying on Harley, Selina, and Ivy in the shower every time? Well… yeah, he is that kind of guy. I mean, the three of them are way too damn hot not to peek at.

---

"??!"

The man who made preparations and tissue in front of his PC froze as the book on his screen—and the entire website with it—blinked out of existence. His fingers hovered over the keyboard mid-typing.

"My… book? Where the hell is my book?!"

"Crap. Don't tell me that hot link my Discord buddy sent—'There are hot women near you, click to contact them and have s*x.'—wasn't actually a joke link?"

He scrambled to open his browser and check the author's workspace. Maybe he could salvage the earlier drafts. But when he logged in… everything was gone. Completely wiped.

Clinging to his last sliver of hope, he checked the site's homepage, searching his own novel title, 'Chat Group: Traits, Gacha, and Crossovers.'

Seconds later, he collapsed into his chair like a deflated balloon. Nothing. All gone.

He forced himself to think. Stay calm. Analyze.

This wasn't some ordinary hacker. This was next-level.

"…Eh???"

Suddenly, the book appeared in front of him again. Excited, he looked at it—only to see Chapter 238 being written.

It was exactly what had just happened.

"What the fuck? The MC I created, Veyron, can break the wall??"

He stared in shock at what was unfolding, only to see that after Chapter 238, the words "The End" appeared—followed by an author's note:

{A/N: And just like that, the main storyline went straight to hell.}

{Honestly, it's been rough. Between burnout, drama, and random distractions, I hadn't really been keeping up with fanfic trends before starting this one. I did have some rough plans—like deciding what each world would give the MC—but once I actually sat down to write, the execution just never matched up.}

{Going forward, I might patch up some of the missing bits—slowing down where the pacing felt too rushed, adding in heroines who hadn't shown up yet because of the timeline, maybe tossing in some goofy extras that may or may not click with you guys. I'll probably post a few trial chapters here and there. Updates, though? Expect them whenever inspiration hits.}

{Since the main plot's already toast, I won't bother forcing it to follow strict timelines anymore (especially with the Gensokyo mainline and the daily-life crossover mess). After venting like this, who knows how long I'll keep going… but whatever. I'll just write whatever comes to mind.}

"I… I.. that. It's not me." The man looked at the screen, even more shaken. He thought about calling support again, or maybe telling his friends, but…

They'd definitely think he was crazy. A lunatic who wrote a chapter and then started believing fiction was real. The media would paint him as a cautionary tale about bad habits—"See? This is why you should all get serious jobs instead of wasting your lives on fanfiction."

Still lost in thought, he noticed the chapter had published. A new draft had opened: Ch. 239: Side Story P1.

"..."

"It seems I can only…"

"Reward myself with a loooong vacation."

With that, he got up and began stuffing clothes into his bag like he was fleeing the country.

At the door, he cast one last glance at the screen. The draft was still being written on its own.

Silently, he opened the door… and left.
