Abigail blinked, confused, Rebecca leaned forward now, resting her elbows gently on the table. "If you walk out of here now," she continued, her voice lower and more dangerous, "you're going to learn very quickly why Jerry didn't have a choice but to make sure you showed up here today."

The weight of those words hung heavy in the air. Abigail furrowed her brow.

"Do I look like an ordinary woman to you, Abigail?" Rebecca asked, with a soft but chilling tone. "Like seriously take a good look."

There was something in Rebecca's tone that was more than just arrogance it was assurance, confidence born from a place of knowing too much. And for the first time, Abigail wasn't sure what game Rebecca was playing anymore. It no longer felt like just some personal intimidation or jealousy. It felt deeper. Much deeper.

Rebecca's eyes didn't move. She was watching Abigail's every reaction. Her every blink. Her every hesitation.
