After everything had calmed down, Uchiha Shin arrived at the mansion he had built.
Uchiha Hikaru, who had been resting here for a while, was still in a daze, grappling with the events that had unfolded.
Uchiha Jiri, who lived here with her, wore an expression that could only be described as shocked.
She, too, had noticed the recent changes within the Uchiha clan.
In just one night, the increasingly extreme atmosphere within the clan had suddenly turned calm.
The family had even developed a secret technique known as "Izanami" to counter Izanagi.
But wasn't this the very technique Uchiha Shin had planned to create himself?
Why had Uchiha Shin done this? Why had he passed this secret technique on to the Uchiha clan?
A flood of questions spread through Uchiha Jiri's mind.
After two days, Uchiha Jiri, unable to contain her curiosity any longer, sought out Uchiha Shin, who was leisurely cooking in the kitchen.
Seeing Uchiha Shin cooking, Jiri was even more perplexed.
She couldn't understand this man at all. He had been ruthless when he killed and had effortlessly led his people to victory against the foreign ninja coalition.
But now, he had become something completely different—just another man, living a peaceful, ordinary life.
So far, in the few days Shin had lived here, though he had made some advances towards her, he had never once forced himself on her.
This left Uchiha Jiri thoroughly confused.
Noticing Jiri's approach, Uchiha Shin called out, "Jiri, come and help me if you're coming over."
"Yes, yes, sir," Jiri stammered, then walked over to assist him.
A while later, the two had prepared six dishes and a soup.
Looking at the delicious food they had made together, Uchiha Shin felt a sense of satisfaction.
Cooking with his own hands felt different than using Yin-Yang Release to make something.
"If things come too easily, we won't treasure them," he muttered to himself.
After sighing, Shin looked at Jiri beside him and, without a moment's hesitation, pulled her into his arms.
No matter what, everything becomes smoother the more you handle it.
In his mind, Uchiha Jiri was already his, and he could do with her as he pleased.
The only reason he hadn't taken her was because he was seeking something deeper—he wanted her heart.
A forced melon might quench thirst, but it was never as sweet as one that was picked at the right moment.
Just like petting a cat, Uchiha Shin stroked her pale, slender neck with his hand.
As his fingers grazed her skin, Jiri's fair complexion flushed an alluring red, like a ripe, plump peach.
"Jiri, I could tell you've been worrying. What do you want to ask me?" he asked, a slight smirk on his face.
"Sir, you... you really know everything," Jiri responded, her voice tinged with a playful hum, before she gathered the courage to ask her question.
"My Lord, why do you know the secret technique of Izanagi, and why did you want to stop the Uchiha clan from abusing it?"
Though Uchiha Shin had claimed to be from the Uchiha clan, Jiri could see that he didn't care much about blood ties. His actions always seemed to have a hidden purpose.
It was just that Jiri, standing where she did, couldn't understand his true intentions.
Hearing her question, Uchiha Shin raised an eyebrow, and his eyes seemed to momentarily lose focus.
Meanwhile, Uchiha Hikaru, who had been resting in the bedroom, smelled the food and slowly walked out.
Upon seeing Uchiha Jiri sitting in Shin's arms, her eyes sharpened immediately.
She stared—relentlessly.
Uchiha Hikaru had been there first, after all. It was Shin who had come to rescue her!
Yet here Jiri was, in Shin's arms, as if it were her place.
It didn't matter that Jiri was older—why should she be the one to take what was hers?
Jiri, feeling the weight of Hikaru's gaze, instinctively shrank her head.
She remembered how, just days ago, Hikaru had been arrogant and seemingly uninterested in Shin.
Now, Hikaru's gaze was full of hostility, a glaring sign that Jiri had stolen her place.
Seeing Hikaru's stare, Uchiha Shin simply smiled, deciding it was time to reveal the truth.
"If you're asking why I know Izanami," he said calmly, "it's because I've already mastered it."
His words hung in the air for a moment before he continued.
"This has to do with where I come from. I am from the future."
Both Uchiha Hikaru and Jiri froze, the shock evident in their expressions.
"Future? What does that even mean? How does that change what's happening now?"
As Uchiha Shin continued to explain, the two women began to understand.
"Indeed," Shin continued, "the Land of Fire... I never expected you, Hikaru, to become the Daimyo of the Land of Fire and start a war to unite the ninja world."
Uchiha Jiri whispered, her voice filled with admiration as she looked at Shin.
Uchiha Hikaru, though still reeling from the shock, recalled something and asked softly, "Did you know about me... from information in the future?"
"There was little information about you, Hikaru," Shin said with a lighthearted grin. "The only thing recorded was the sealing of the Uchiha clan's weapons by ninjas from other clans."
He paused, almost as if realizing something for the first time.
"I was actually planning to dig you out, but I never imagined I'd find you in this era."
Hikaru stood frozen for a moment, her mind racing. If Shin hadn't come... if he hadn't...
She couldn't imagine what might have happened, locked away for who knows how many years.
Jiri, still trying to wrap her head around everything, looked up at Shin again. "And me?" she asked quietly, her face reddening slightly.
Shin glanced at her with a smirk. "You're even more obscure than Hikaru. After creating the Izanami technique, you died during the Uchiha clan's internal strife. That's all there is—just one sentence."
Jiri's face turned crimson, and she fumed silently.
So that was it. Her death wasn't even worth more than a passing mention? The realization hit her like a blow to the stomach.
No wonder Shin hadn't known who she was before.
In Hikaru's mind, one particular phrase kept echoing. "Perhaps the purpose of my coming here was to meet you."
Her parents had named her "Uchiha Hikaru," hoping that she could walk away from the darkness of war and find the light.
But it was Uchiha Shin who had truly brought her into the light.
Thinking of this, Hikaru couldn't help but smile warmly, her eyes sparkling with hope for the future.
She looked up at Shin, her voice filled with a quiet longing.
"So... you're going to stay here with us, right?" she asked softly.
And in that moment, Uchiha Hikaru saw her own "light" for the first time
