Chapter 228 - Chapter 228: Domination of the Uchiha Clan!

Uchiha Shin stood facing Uchiha Jiri, his gaze calculating as he studied her. There was something strangely familiar about her, but he couldn't place where he'd encountered her before. She was an enigma, her presence exuding both fear and power.

After a long silence, Uchiha Jiri whispered her name.

"I am Uchiha Jiri. May I ask, sir, what exactly you require of me?"

She was perplexed. How could someone of Uchiha Shin's caliber even remember a nobody like her? What had she done to anger him? Could it be that his eye technique had failed to change her consciousness, leaving him with no choice but to kill her?

Fear flickered in her eyes as a multitude of thoughts raced through her mind.

"Uchiha Jiri..." Shin murmured to himself, a glimmer of recognition passing through his gaze. "That name... I do remember it."

It was a name tied to a legend—Uchiha Jiri, the one who had created the forbidden technique Izanami. It was through her creation that the civil war in the Uchiha clan, sparked by Izanagi, had been quelled. Yet, as history had unfolded, she had perished during the conflict, vanishing into obscurity.

Shin's memory was fragmented, disjointed, possibly disrupted by his presence in this time. "Huh... Something's wrong with the timeline," he thought, rubbing his temple. "My arrival has surely caused a ripple. But for now... I'll deal with it."

He contemplated the consequences. "The Izanagi Rebellion and the foreign ninja invasion must be handled. If the Uchiha clan is eradicated here, who knows how much it will affect the future?"

His mind was clouded with uncertainty, but he had to stay focused. He would make sure history stayed on course, no matter the cost.

Turning his attention back to Jiri, he smiled faintly and gestured for her to approach. "Don't be afraid. I'm not one to kill unnecessarily."

His tone was casual, as though reassuring her with a brotherly touch. "Jiri, you have great potential. Keep striving forward."

Jiri, utterly confused, could only nod stiffly. She didn't know what to think of this strange man, but she instinctively sensed that he wasn't an enemy, at least not yet.

Shin could sense her hesitation, but it didn't bother him. He knew it was too soon to expect trust. After all, they had only just met.

"Take some rest, Hikaru," he said, referring to the Uchiha clan member who was still visibly exhausted from the ordeal. "Sleep well, and all will be fine."

He motioned to Jiri. "Go keep Hikaru company. You two should be able to get along."

With that, Shin effortlessly created a lavish mansion for them to rest in, before turning to face the more pressing issue—the invasion of foreign ninja clans. He had no desire for the Uchiha clan to be wiped out, not when so much was at stake.

Meanwhile, Hikaru stood there for a moment, a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. He seemed as though he wanted to speak, but the sheer exhaustion pulling at him forced him to remain silent. He turned and walked into the mansion without another word.

Jiri, still startled by everything happening around her, watched Shin leave. Her breath caught in her throat, but once he was out of sight, she finally exhaled, relieved. Her gaze turned to Hikaru, who had already disappeared inside. For a moment, she hesitated before following him into the mansion.

As Shin departed, he made his way toward the heart of the Uchiha clan's compound. A crowd of Uchiha members looked at him with suspicion, whispers and murmurs circulating among them.

"Who's this strange man?"

"Where is the clan leader?"

The Uchiha members who hadn't been influenced by Shin's Tsukuyomi remained perplexed. They had no idea who he was or why he was in the clan leader's seat.

But Shin wasn't interested in answering their questions. He took a seat in the clan leader's chair and glanced at the gathered members.

"Silence!" His voice rang out, powerful and commanding.

The murmurs ceased instantly, and the room became eerily quiet. Shin surveyed the room, noting the tension in the air. He had their full attention now.

"Prepare forces to fend off the invading coalition of foreign ninja," he ordered, his voice unwavering. "And from this day forward, no one, except the clan leader, is allowed to use Izanagi without permission."

He paused, eyes narrowing.

"Izanami, the forbidden technique created by Uchiha Jiri, is now classified as a Uchiha clan forbidden jutsu. You will study it, for it is the counter to Izanagi."

Shin's words were heavy with authority, each syllable laced with power. Though this task should have fallen to Jiri, Shin decided to take matters into his own hands for the sake of efficiency. Besides, it wouldn't be hard to shift the blame onto her if things went wrong.

He needed to maintain the course of history, and for that, certain events had to play out as they always had.

"Izanami must be integrated into the clan's archives. We cannot afford any deviations in the timeline," Shin mused to himself. "I'll do what's necessary to stabilize things."

His mind whirled with possibilities, and while there was a part of him that longed to return to his time, he knew the journey wasn't over yet. "If everything else fails, I may have to seek the Dragon Vein," he thought. "But that's a last resort. I can't risk further paradoxes."

Shin exhaled deeply and stood, heading back toward the compound. "We must defeat the foreign coalition. The Uchiha clan cannot fall here."

Outside, the invading ninja forces were already massing. A thousand strong, they were ready to make their push against the Uchiha clan. Shin could sense their chakra levels—a mixture of Chuunin and Jounin level shinobi, most of them seasoned warriors.

But Shin wasn't worried. He had other plans.

"Black Shadow Army, assemble!" he called out.

From the shadows, dark figures began to emerge, one after another, until a hundred shadowy soldiers stood before him. Each of them was a Chuunin level ninja, but they were far more than just regular soldiers. These were Yin-Yang shadow clones, brought to life by Shin's mastery of the technique.

With the help of these shadow soldiers, Shin knew that the battle would be easily won.

As the Uchiha clan prepared for war, the enemy advanced. The two sides collided, and a fierce battle ensued.

Shin stood back, watching the battle unfold. His shadow soldiers moved in and swiftly repelled the invaders, their attacks precise and deadly. The Uchiha clan, though temporarily weakened by the loss of Izanagi, still held their ground.

The battle didn't last long, and the foreign ninja forces were soon driven back. The Uchiha clan emerged victorious, but Shin knew that this was only the beginning.

As the dust settled, Shin withdrew his shadow soldiers and took flight, returning to the Uchiha clan's territory.

"With this victory, the Uchiha clan should be able to recover," Shin mused. "War has always been the catalyst for their growth."

Despite his success, Shin didn't feel a sense of satisfaction. He wasn't attached to this era. All he cared about now was stabilizing the timeline and ensuring that the Uchiha clan wouldn't fall into extinction.

He sighed, his mind set on the next steps. "We'll continue on. For now, the Uchiha clan is safe."
