When Lily Turner and Easton Holmes arrived at the canteen with a few others, those who came before them had already formed their own groups and sat down. Their comrades were busy serving tea and pouring water, with the prepared cold dishes and wedding wine already set on the tables.
By this time, Lily Turner had changed out of her wedding dress and into a bright red evening gown. She originally wanted to wear a cheongsam, but because her belly was slightly protruding, she had to give up her preferred choice and opt for a dress with a slightly loose skirt.
Considering the need to walk around to toast guests, she even took off her high heels and wore flat shoes of the same color as her dress. Luckily, she was tall enough that the dress didn't drag on the ground.
However, wearing flat shoes next to Easton Holmes made her feel somewhat disadvantaged, as he was a full head taller than her. Despite this, they still appeared well-matched.
