When the four sisters came downstairs, apart from Aiden Taylor's family and Easton Holmes's three best friends, the other guests who came to congratulate had already been led to the hall by Michael Linton and his wife.
"Lily! You look beautiful today!"
Seeing Lily Turner and her three sisters walk in, Callix Linton gave a thumbs up and praised.
"So, Grandpa means I wasn't pretty before," Lily joked as she walked over to Callix, mimicking his thumbs up gesture, "Grandpa! I find you super handsome today too."
Callix usually wore casual clothes, but today he put on his long-unworn military uniform. It was the first time Lily had seen him in it, and he looked even more spirited.
Callix pointed at Easton Holmes and then at himself, asking Lily, who had walked over, "So who's more handsome, Grandpa or young Easton?"
He looked at her as she came closer, eyes sparkling with mischief.
