Although Lily Turner was sulking with Easton Holmes, she meant what she said earlier; she was deliberately trying to annoy him because he wouldn't give her any freedom.
"Pfft!"
Hearing Lily say this, Easton suddenly burst out laughing. Seeing him change expressions faster than a professional face-changer, she rolled her eyes at him twice in exasperation.
"Easton Holmes! Can you respect me for a moment? I'm trying to annoy you, not make you laugh." Was what she said that funny? Did this man get his brain squashed by a door?
Lily pushed the man who had her trapped in his embrace and reminded him, "Let me go, alright? This is your territory, lots of people must know you. Aren't you afraid of what they might say?"
She's no longer in showbiz, so she didn't care about such things, but he was different.
He's a leader in the army. Surely, people here would recognize him. She thought he would care at least a little about that.
