As Lily Turner walked past Easton Holmes, she didn't stop but continued walking toward the kitchen. She pretended not to see him, not even turning her head in his direction.
That girl! Does she plan to ignore him forever?
Easton Holmes strode forward and grabbed the unresponsive Lily Turner. This time, he gave her no chance to avoid him or escape from his grip.
"Let go of me!"
Lily Turner tried several times to free her hand but couldn't, angrily glaring at the man beside her.
Easton Holmes didn't let go as she wished, nor did he respond to her. He silently pulled her towards the kitchen.
Despite having a lot of resentment towards the man next to her, considering there were others at home, Lily Turner didn't want to argue with him here and cause a scene.
After entering the kitchen, Easton Holmes released Lily Turner's hand, opening the fridge to take out something to eat while asking, "What are we having for dinner?"
