Xavier did exactly as he promised. He found the owner of the stable and brought him in. The old man was his only lead, the only one who might know where Sabrina lived or who she really was. Without wasting time, Xavier took him to one of the empty rooms in his warehouse and locked the door behind them.
"You're going to talk, whether you like it or not," Xavier said coldly.
With the way Xavier looked now, the old man assumed they were around the same age, maybe even the same strength. But he was wrong.
Xavier didn't hesitate. With just a few whispered words, he shed the human shape he had worn for years and returned to his true form. He was done pretending. Done hiding behind the identity of his late neighbor.
He had taken on the Xavier persona a long time ago and quietly built a life around it. He blended in, lived among the people, even married a Xylonian woman who had no idea who or what he really was.
