"Understood." Lynch replied vaguely. He did not push the Desire Demon away but quietly focused his attention on Piffed. Eryies, not receiving a response from the Mage, hummed in slight disappointment near Lynch's ear before retreating back to her original position.
"I know of a guy who can do that; at least he had that ability a long time ago. The only uncertainty is whether he has forgotten that skill now." The Abyss Demon rubbed his hands, the sharp fingers creating a rustling sound on the tough skin. "Mage, do you want this kind of information?"
"What kind of price is required, Mr. Refining Demon, please name it." The Mage leaned on his staff, naturally standing there, having anticipated this situation.
