"It's fine." Matthew Morgan comforted her by grabbing her hand, but the next second, he dragged Chloe Grant's body and directly lay on the ground.
With a swift motion, he turned over and pressed down on Chloe Grant.
Chloe felt it... the opponent was attacking!
Somewhere a light flickered, and Chloe watched as Matthew Morgan pulled her up, wrapped his arm around her waist, tilted their bodies, and dodged the incoming knife.
Chloe stared blankly at his profile, momentarily dazed.
The light disappeared again, and Matthew Morgan directly lifted her into his arms, suddenly saying, "Kick forward with force!"
Chloe complied, and soon felt her foot hit something, followed by a muffled grunt.
Matthew then set her down and pushed Chloe aside.
Chloe's body was somewhat out of control, and she seemed to hear the sounds of fighting nearby... And before she could lose her balance, Matthew caught her and at the same time lifted her up, "Kick!"
Chloe complied, using all her strength!
