"Father, are you really leaving?" Mabel Quinn was taken aback.
"Actually, Kyle's punishment for me is already considered light. Moreover, as long as I do this, Alice and my wife will be safe." Mr. Conley murmured, "Two lives in exchange for a conclusion like this, I still can't entirely redeem my sins."
"Father, why don't you wait a little longer? I'll try persuading Kyle again. Maybe there's a chance for a turnaround," Mabel suggested.
Mr. Conley hesitated; was there really a chance for a turnaround?
If there truly was a chance, it would only be possible if Kyle Kinston were willing to forgive him. But... to earn someone's forgiveness is incredibly difficult, and he didn't even have the right to be forgiven!

When Mabel Quinn returned to Kyle's mansion, Kyle was sitting in the living room, watching animations on the TV. For a moment, Mabel almost thought Kyle had a fever again, reverting to the mindset of a 5 or 6-year-old.
