Mabel Quinn didn't know how long she had been crying. By the time she finally stopped, the soup she had prepared had already gone cold, so she had to reheat it. Luckily, the porridge was still warm, thanks to being kept insulated.
After bringing the porridge and soup to the dining table, Mabel noticed that Kyle Kinston was looking at her with evident concern. So she pulled herself together and smiled, saying, "I'm okay now, let's have lunch."
"Why were you crying?" he asked.
"Because I thought of someone who once proposed to me, but we can never get married," she replied.
"Why is it impossible?"
"Because there's no love anymore." They broke up, fell out of love, and over time, even the past can fade away.
"It's okay, I can propose to you too, I can marry you," he said, "I won't let you cry again."
