After Mabel Quinn sat down, the servant brought out the dishes one by one. Edward Quinn said, "I wasn't sure what you like to eat, so I just asked the kitchen to make a few things. If there's anything specific you want, you can tell the kitchen, and they can make it now."
"I like all these dishes," Mabel quickly replied.
Edward smiled, "At the tofu feast that day, I noticed you didn't eat much. When I turned around, you were gone. Later, I heard from that Daniel Harris from the Harris Family that you went home first. So today, I called you over to say some things I didn't finish that day and to enjoy a good meal with you."
Edward picked up his chopsticks first and started eating, so Mabel also began her meal.
As they ate together, Edward surprisingly spoke quite a bit, going against the usual silence during meals, sharing many stories from the past about her foster father, Asher Quinn.
