The light of the early sun creep through the window reflecting on a boy with long red hair. His rich brown skin glistened even more under the golden light of morning enhancing his already sharp features.
The boy is none other than Kaios. He severely underestimated the exhaustion from the yesterday's event. The physical tiredness with addition of mental stress made him sleep for nearly 17 hours.
Kaios lazily woke up from bed stretching his hands. He yawned groggily as he looks at the clock. It is showing the hour hand of clock reaching 7.
Now he realised that he almost slept 17 hours also skipped the yesterday's dinner.
Though he is not feeling hungry probably because of the awakening.
As his mind cleared and sleepiness wear off, he got up from the bed and went to do his morning routine.
After finishing everything he descended to the dining hall which is in the ground floor whereas his room is in the first floor.
In the dining room Lyra is waiting for him with the breakfast. He greeted her " Good morning, mom." Take the seat in front of Lyra.
Lyra also greeted him back and asked "Are you alright Kai? You didn't come down for dinner last night."
"Yeah, mom I am fine. It's just yesterday was a bit hectic and I was so exhausted." Kaios said as he started eating his breakfast.
The breakfast is consisted of boiled eggs, toasted breads and avocado paste with a glass of orange juice.
Lyra nodded, "Take care of your health from now on, Kai." Said affectionately.
"Also I talked with your dad last night, He is coming back tonight." Lyra declared suddenly.
Hearing this a shocked look appeared on Kaios's face, "Wait...dad is coming back!!"
"Yeah, he heard your problem coming home to discuss about it."
" But it's okay, I don't want to give him any stress. He will be busy with the Guild businesses." Kai urged.
Lyra shook her head and said "Well he is a father also, so you came first before Guild and he is doing too many work, that's why he needs a break."
"Ah..and meet me at the training hall at 10 a.m, I want to see your body's condition because of excess Psion." Lyra said to him while finished her breakfast.
Kaios nodded "I will be ready and thank you for worrying about me." Also finishing his breakfast.
Lyra smiled " It's fine, Kai. It is my job as your mother."
"Okay, I will be going now, be ready for training. " Getting up from the Lyra went do her work.
After some times Kaios also get up and went to play some video games.
10 a.m, in the training hall....
Kaios is currently in the training hall with his mother. The training hall is at the left side of their Vila.
There are many high-tech equipment available to test and train the body. Including weight based, stamina based also others like reaction training, weapon training equipments are also installed.
"Okay now we will let's test what is your body capable of." Lyra said while crossing her hands.
Kaios nodded and started first with the weight training. After completing it he changed to stamina based training.
Like this he done a series of other training to reach the limit of his body, while Lyra noting everything down in a holo-screen.
Some times later the body training of Kaios came to an end. His entire clothes are drenched with the sweat, but shockingly he doesn't look that tired.
" Okay, now I got the necessary data on body conditioning." Lyra said, looking at the display in her hand.
" So.. how did I do, mom?" Kaios asked, excited to hear his performance.
"Well your agility and reaction speed is the same as other Initiator, in peak human realm but your strength, stamina and recovery speed far surpassed that." Lyra said looking at Kaios.
"Due to the excess Psion in body your strength improved significantly, but the main change comes from the stamina and recovery speed. As your cells are super charged from the excess Psion, these are increased by many fold surpassing a Initiator. As it is already in the realm of Peak Tier 9." Lyra smirked seeing the shocked face of Kaios.
Kaios's eye widened, Peak Tier 9 already. He muttered himself.
Lyra said while turning off the display, " But as Karl said there are side effects due to your Psion overflow, so you have to push your body to the absolute limit to mitigate this effects. Also from tomorrow onwards your Dad will train you." She gave Kai a knowing look. "Which is why, from tomorrow onwards... your father will personally train you."
"Dad will teach me? Will he also give me weapon training?" Kaios asked excitedly.
" Yes and he will, also give you your new training regiment to train your body better, so be ready." Lyra left after saying this.
Like this Kaios's training came to an end. The time now is 12 p.m. He had been training for constantly 2 hours.
Kaios then went to his room to bathe and clean himself. After the bath, he asked the maid to bring his lunch to his room.
Later finishing his lunch, he makes himself comfortable and adopted a meditative posture.
Kaios was trying to enter Garden Of End again. He also learned to enter and exit It from the information he received yesterday from the Crown.
Kaios closed his eyes trying to concentrate, he focused on the view of Crown, forming a mental image of it.
Suddenly he found himself in the same void on the colossal corpse once again. Beside him the Gem is now glowing in the same etheral light, no longer flickering like before.
He also notice something strange, different than last time.
Among many hexagonal patterns on the surface of Gem, some of them are now glowing in a silvery blue light.
Observing this Kaios's theory is now seems to be partially true.
He guessed that the Crown's Gems are the derivative energies of Lumina. But it seems like one Gem contains multiple energies.
Though he still has some doubts regarding other Gems in the crown and how to get the other energies.
He also got the answers about his problem with Psion.
According to the information he received now, Resonance is a bridge, through which Psion used. It is just a medium that connects it with Lumina or you can say that, Lumina altered into Psion through Resonance. That's the reason why Psion is volatile and has different variation according to type of Resonances.
Psion that he has excess is the result of his resonance giving him Psion that has some characteristics of Lumina.
Kaios also came to the conclusion that Dr. Karl is wrong. The theory he suggested isn't applicable for him, he can't use Resonance like that.
He have to fix this problem by himself, in his own way. He spoke to himself.
