Meanwhile, Annette and Sherry had just arrived in L.A. along with Karena, Michaela, and Christine by helicopter. There, they were greeted by Raviel and Jill, who were already waiting for them at the grand mansion.
"Welcome, Annette. You must be tired from your journey. Tia has already prepared a room for you," Raviel said with a warm smile.
"Thanks, Raviel," Annette replied, still carrying a sleepy Sherry in her arms. With Raviel accompanying her, Annette headed into the mansion and went straight to rest.
Meanwhile, Karena was already preparing to return to Raccoon City. Jill, noticing this, quickly approached and boarded the helicopter.
"Jill, what are you doing?" Karena asked.
"I'm coming with you. I'm a little worried about Allen and Rebecca," Jill answered, clearly uneasy as if she had a bad feeling.
"Jill, you don't need to worry about that. Svetlana is with them, and besides, you know Allen can take care of himself."
"I know… but I still want to see for myself," Jill insisted stubbornly.
"But you're pregnant, Jill. This could be dangerous for your baby," Karena protested.
"I know, but I'm sure we'll be fine. Besides, I've received the same serum as you, so I'm confident both my health and my baby's health will be perfectly fine," Jill explained. She was still stubborn, convinced she could protect herself—especially with the serum making her pregnancy less of a hindrance.
Not long after, Athena approached them. "Don't worry, Jill won't be alone—because I'll be joining her," she said with a reassuring smile.
Karena, seeing Athena also wanting to come along, wanted to protest even more—especially since Athena was pregnant as well. "Hey, you two are really leaving me with no choice here…"
"Fufufu, we should leave quickly. Otherwise, even more people will want to join," Athena teased, signaling Lupo to start up the helicopter. It looked like Hera also intended to come along.
"Damn it, you guys…" Karena muttered in frustration, but with no other choice, Lupo started the engines and lifted the helicopter into the air.
Meanwhile, Hera—who had just stepped outside to join them—could only click her tongue in annoyance. It seemed she hadn't moved fast enough this time.
"Hey Hera, what are you doing outside?" asked Aphrodite, who had just come back from shopping.
"Nothing," Hera replied before heading straight inside the house.
Aphrodite only shrugged. "Did something just happen?" she muttered to herself, but quickly carried her shopping bags inside. She had heard that Annette and Sherry were coming over, so she went out of her way to buy groceries to prepare a party for them tomorrow morning.
....
Meanwhile, in the Arklay Mountains, Allen and his girls were still walking through the forest while following Billy's trail, which seemed to lead toward the railway.
"Darling, this prisoner named Billy seems to be very cruel… how could someone like him slaughter thirty civilians?" said Rebecca, who still seemed to be thinking about it.
"I can't comment on that. Sometimes we can't just believe everything we see at first glance. But I really like your strong sense of justice," said Allen while grabbing Rebecca's butt.
"Okay, stop it, don't touch me there, I'm still sensitive," said Rebecca, trying to pull Allen's hand away, since her lower hole was still throbbing and hadn't closed yet. Her legs were also very weak and she was struggling to walk normally because in this mission she had been walking nonstop.
"Do you want me to carry you? You look exhausted," Allen asked, noticing that Rebecca's condition seemed to be worsening.
"No need, I can still walk. Besides, my condition isn't much different from before I used your Serum," Rebecca answered casually.
"Alright, but don't push yourself too hard, we can always take a short break if you can't handle it anymore."
"Yes, don't worry, I'm still strong. Oh, by the way, what did you mean earlier? Are you suspicious that man was framed or something?" Rebecca asked curiously.
"Well, it'll be hard to explain, but we should prioritize capturing him first," Allen replied.
Not long after, they finally arrived at a railway track, and not far from there they could see a train—the very one they had been searching for all along.
"Look, that seems to be the train we've been looking for, Darling, and their position isn't far from here," said Rebecca, who seemed eager to rush in and check on the passengers. They could see that the lights inside the train were still on.
"Wait," said Allen, "we better not rush in," because he noticed several leeches still crawling around the train.
And sure enough, not long after, a Hunter-type zombie suddenly leaped at them. But Svetlana, with her swift reflexes, jumped more than five meters high and kicked the zombie right in the head.
Crack!
They could clearly hear the sound of its skull shattering under her high heels, and Svetlana landed gracefully right after pulling off the move.
Allen, watching this, was a little speechless at Svetlana's rather brutal fighting style as she crushed the zombie.
'What the hell! Does wearing high heels actually add attack damage? And why the hell didn't those heels break? They're just regular shoes!' Allen thought, swallowing hard as he watched Svetlana now strut forward, leading the way with a sexy confidence.
Meanwhile, Rebecca, who had just witnessed Svetlana's move, was utterly amazed and wanted to learn how to do the same. Even though her body had already been enhanced many times compared to before, she still wasn't sure if she could pull off what Svetlana had just done.
"Wow, Sister Svetlana, that was so cool! I want to learn that technique," Rebecca said with eyes full of admiration.
"If you keep training, I'm sure you'll be able to do the same, Rebecca. And since your body has been enhanced by the same serum as mine, I'm confident it will be easier for you to replicate my moves in the future," Svetlana replied, clearly happy with Rebecca's praise.
"Alright, let's move on. And also, be careful not to get bitten by them," Allen said in a slightly possessive tone. Even though the zombies couldn't infect them anymore, who would ever want to see his woman bitten and hurt?
"Hehe, I'm not worried, because I know you'll protect me," Rebecca said playfully in a moment like this. Of course, every woman would want a man who could be relied on at all times.
Not long after, as Allen and Rebecca were about to reach the train, Enrico and the others had just come out of it, already finished checking inside and confirming there were no survivors.
"Ah, Captain, how's the situation inside?" Allen asked as he met Team 3.
"All the passengers are dead, and it seems there are no survivors inside," Enrico said, shaking his head a little, saddened by what had happened there.
"By the way, what are you guys doing here?"
"Oh, we found Billy's trail leading this way, so we wanted to check inside as well while we're at it."
"Hmmm, alright. Be careful—we ran into a lot of monsters on our way here. Oh, and I'm going to check out the mansion since Team 1 hasn't reported back until now, and that's starting to worry me," Enrico replied.
"Okay, Captain, we'll be careful," Allen said, and then they split up again after Allen and the others entered the train.
"Okay, we'd better be careful. I'm a little suspicious of these leeches gathering here," Allen said as he noticed more and more of them clustering in one spot.
Rebecca, unnerved by the eerie atmosphere inside the train, instinctively pressed closer to Allen. She was still inexperienced in situations like this—after all, she was only 18, and her mind wasn't fully prepared for the horrors that might unfold before her.
Meanwhile, from atop a cliff, Marcus observed the three figures who had just entered the train.
"Who are they? Are they from Umbrella?" muttered Marcus—better known now as the Queen Leech—who carried all of Marcus's memories.
Inside the train, the atmosphere was deathly quiet. The group moved cautiously, every step measured. Svetlana, however, couldn't shake the uneasy feeling gnawing at her. Her head kept buzzing, and the hair on her arms stood on end. Thanks to Allen's serum, her senses had become far more attuned to danger, and right now, they were screaming at her.
"Sister Lana, are you okay?" Rebecca asked, clearly not experiencing the same side effects from her own dose of serum.
"I just… feel like this place is extremely dangerous. We should leave, now," Svetlana replied firmly.
"But we just got in, and we haven't checked all the cars yet," Rebecca said, but then her eyes suddenly locked onto one of the passengers—she thought she saw the man's body twitch slightly.
"Hello, sir? Are you alright? We're a rescue team, are you okay?" Rebecca asked as she cautiously approached.
But the moment she tapped the man's back, his head twisted unnaturally and fell right off.
Rebecca's face went pale, her body frozen in terror at the horrifying sight.
Almost instantly, swarms of leeches began pouring out from the corpses of other passengers. Several of the dead suddenly rose, shambling toward them.
"Shit."
Bang!… Bang!… Bang!
Gunshots rang out inside the train car.
Allen rushed over to Rebecca, who was still paralyzed by fear. Even though she had been on missions like this before, she had never gotten used to such horrors.
"Okay, close your eyes, sweetheart. You're safe now," Allen said softly as he held her close and pulled her back.
Meanwhile, Svetlana opened fire on the zombies, covering Allen as more of them closed in on their position.
Before long, Rebecca managed to calm herself, taking a deep, steady breath.
"Are you okay now?" Allen asked gently.
"Yes… thank you, love," Rebecca replied.
"Alright, remember—aim for the head," Allen reminded her, his tone gentle even as he kept firing at the incoming zombies.
Rebecca nodded, steadying her pistol before firing as well.
"I did it!" Rebecca exclaimed, her spirits lifted now that she'd scored a few kills.
"Good. Just stay sharp and don't get hurt, okay?" Allen said firmly, before joining Svetlana in clearing out the remaining zombies.
After a few minutes, all the zombies had been killed, and the train was quiet and safe again—at least for the moment. But at the end of the car, there seemed to be a particularly large zombie rushing toward them. Svetlana wanted to step forward to face it, but Allen stopped her.
"Let me try first," Allen said as he pulled out his lightsaber.
"Allen, be careful," Rebecca said, a little worried.
Svetlana, seeing that Allen wanted to show off his abilities, grew a little curious and let him go ahead, though she stayed alert and ready to move if Allen couldn't finish the job.
The zombie kept charging at full speed, ready to slam into anything in its way. Then Allen activated his lightsaber, its red glow shining brightly. With a swift motion, he cut off the arm that tried to grab him. The lightsaber sliced through everything in front of it like a knife cutting tofu, and Allen's hand movements were incredibly fast.
Swish—nine times in a row—he slashed the zombie into several pieces. He also made sure to cut off its head so the zombie would be truly dead and unable to mutate further.
Svetlana, watching this, was a little impressed but couldn't resist commenting on Allen's antics.
"Show-off," Svetlana said.
Allen then deactivated his weapon, not wanting it to run out of power.
"Well, that looked easy," Allen said casually. Sure, he could've just kept using his rifle to blow the zombie's head apart, but since he wanted to test out the strength of his lightsaber, he figured it was worth it.
Rebecca, a little shocked by Allen's skill, was left staring in disbelief.
"Okay, Rebecca, you'd better start getting used to this kind of thing," Svetlana said, reminding her. "We don't know what we'll be facing next, and if you want to survive, you need to stay focused and never drop your guard. Besides, there's nothing to be afraid of—I'm sure with more experience, you'll be able to do the same."
"Ahh, yes… thank you, Instructor. I'll do my best from now on," Rebecca replied, her spirits lifting a little. After all, she didn't want to keep being a burden.
"Okay, let's move on to the next car and check it out. After that, we can get out of this place," Allen said calmly.
The three of them then stepped into the next train car, facing a few more zombies. But after being shot down, the zombies suddenly transformed into swarms of leeches.
"Are they… leeches?" Rebecca muttered. She already seemed a bit more used to it now and quickly started shooting at every monster she saw. It looked like Svetlana's words had really fired her up.
