Susheel heard a knock on his door.
Susheel quickly stopped cultivating and opened the door. It was none other than Xu Jianhong.
"Father is it time for training already.?" Susheel asked with glint of suprise in his eyes with the sudden appearance of his father, not knowing that a month had already passed.
"Yes it is time for training. A month has already passed and this time the training won't be short so be mentally prepared, although there is hardly enough time for you to do so." Xu Jianhong replied with a plain tone.
With Xu Jianhong in the lead both susheel and him walked to the training area.
The relentless training began with susheel doing basic punches, kicks, and other martial techniques with qi infused in it to improve the destructive power of the techniques.
Although Xu Jianhong had high expectations for his son susheel. Susheel's improvement did not betray that expectations in the least. Day by day as time passed susheel grew more and more adept to the martial techniques taught by his father, Xu Jianhong.
23 days passed in a blink of an eye as the basic training ended. There were only a few breaks as cultivators did not require to rest every day. This was also one of the reasons for susheel's quick improvement. By the end of the basic training session which lasted nearly a month susheel had completely comprehended and mastered the art wi infusion in martial techniques.
"He really is showing his combat talent. Mastering the basic techniques within just 23 days is truly amazing even for talents like him. And moreover he is willing to train, this temperament is what makes him susheel a talent." Xu Jianhong evaluated susheel's results in training.
During the span of susheel's training Xu Jianhong who was not willing to waste time was cultivating while keeping an eye on susheel's progress.
"Father... So what's next." Susheel asked Xu Jianhong while panting from the heavy training that he had just underwent.
"Next is the intermediate training session. Which will focus on teaching you how to use long and mid ranged qi based attacks. And will also teach you how to counter attack based on timing. I am warning you that this is a big step up from the basics that you have just underwent. It might even take you a year to complete this although you are a god given talent." Xu Jianhong answered with a serious tone.
After thinking about it for while susheel nodded and said. "I will take part in that training although it might take time to complete I will do my best to learn."
Hearing susheel's reply Xu Jianhong could not help but smile at this display of nature by susheel. "This kid is really willing to go all the way to get stronger. He really is my son."
The training started again as susheel trained using his qi based long and mid ranged attacks on dummies. Although this created a bit of a commotion is the surrounding villages after a few days the commotion died out.
The training went on for months and months with no end in sight. Susheel's progress was slow compared to his previous training session. This goes on to show the intensity and difficulty difference of the two training sessions.
At times susheel would even faint from qi deficiency and Xu Jianhong would use a technique to revitalize his qi reserves. Well, to be fair even Xu Jianhong was surprised at how high susheel's qi reserves were especially for his cultivation level.
After the initial growth stunt that lasted just over 2 or so months susheel's growth became iminent as he cruzed through the rest of the training session at a really high speed shocking Xu Jianhong.
8 months passed by in a blink of an eye.
Susheel stood there in middle of the training field covered in soot and dust showing the efforts that he had put in for this training that had lasted nearly an entire year. Unlike before his body showed well defined muscles and he had enough strength that he could smash a boulder with his physical strength and touch of infused qi to protect his body from the repercussions of course.
His tanned body and his well defined muscles looked extremely asthetic when coupled with his face that was nearly an exact one to one replica of the face that he had in his previous life. He had improved in every stage of combat drastically as his combat sense was increased through the multiple sparring sessions he had with Xu Jianhong.
His arsenal of qi based techniques and martial techniques were increased with a plethora of new skills that was imparted to him by his father. He was now what you call a man.
"This kid just never stops impressing me. He never once gave up in the entire time he trained, always breaking through his limits. Even I have to say that I did not even have near as much of a dedication that he now possesses. I am now really looking forward to what faces the other elders will show after he reaches the Qi Refining Realm and becomes the number 1 prodigy of the Jade Pure Dragon Sect." Xu Jianhong thought with a glimmer of excitement as he watched susheel stand in the middle of the training field.
"Son. This is the end of your training session for now. Go and cultivate till you reach the Qi Refining Realm and then I will designate you your next training." Xu Jianhong's stern voice resounded through the whole field as susheel gave gentle nod to the command accepting the orders of his father.
