What exactly existed within Naruto?
What was it that caused both Ōtsutsuki Urashiki and even the Ōtsutsuki God himself to feel confused and uncertain?
In truth, all of this traced back to Toneri Ōtsutsuki's Tenseigan.
Back then, Toneri had used the pure power of the Tenseigan to wrap and protect Naruto's soul. After that, he activated the forbidden treasure of time travel—the Plow of Time.
Through that artifact, Naruto's soul was sent directly across time and space, arriving within the Naruto who had been reborn in this era.
In other words, this process was fundamentally similar to the Ōtsutsuki clan's method of resurrection.
When an Ōtsutsuki faces death, they compress and encode all information of their being—memories, power, will, and existence—into a Kāma, then implant it into a suitable vessel. That vessel would later be rewritten and reborn as the Ōtsutsuki themselves.

Naruto nodded, then turned to Sasuke. "There's something I'm about to do. I need to explain it first."
Sasuke's heart tightened instantly.
Judging from Naruto's expression, whatever he was planning was definitely insane.
"What are you planning?" Sasuke asked.
Naruto smiled calmly and replied, "I want you to cooperate with me… to release Kaguya."
Sasuke's eyes widened instantly.
"Are you out of your mind?!" he snapped. "We barely managed to seal her away. Why would you release her now?!"
Naruto grew serious. "This is my conclusion. Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and even Urashiki… the Ōtsutsuki we've encountered are not the true peak of their clan."
"They're more like… Kage-level combatants."
Sasuke frowned deeply.
"The real core figures of the Ōtsutsuki clan haven't appeared yet," Naruto continued. "And that scares me."
Sasuke stared at him. "You're saying that even if we fight again… we might not be able to defeat what's coming?"
Naruto nodded heavily. "Yes."
"You should understand now. Kaguya created countless White Zetsu. She even transformed humans into White Zetsu—not simply to drain vitality or convert chakra."

"And I wouldn't have been able to be reborn."

Sasuke looked at Naruto. "Do you want to summon her here?"

In this life, however, Kaguya had been sealed directly on Earth.
After the sealing, Naruto had thrown his Sword of Bonds, ordering Sasuke to shatter the Chibaku Tensei and send it straight into the moon.
