Chapter 595 - Chapter 595

Urashiki stared quietly at the chakra sphere floating in front of him.

The energy contained within this chakra mass was enormous, far beyond what ordinary shinobi could imagine. However, Urashiki was well aware that this was not the complete chakra of the One-Tail. After absorbing part of it, he could clearly sense another presence on this planet—chakra of a similar origin, resonating faintly with what he held in his hand.

That alone was enough to tell him the truth.

He had not captured all of it.

A faint smile appeared on Urashiki's face as he recalled the final moments of his encounter with Gaara. At the time, Gaara had launched a desperate counterattack, and although it was ineffective, Urashiki immediately realized that something was off. For the sake of caution, he chose not to pursue Gaara any further and instead withdrew decisively.

Now, that decision felt absolutely correct.

At this moment, Urashiki made up his mind to use the chakra sphere in his possession to activate the altar first.

Without hesitation, he opened a spatial rift and stepped through it, arriving at Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's original dimension—the frozen world of ice and snow. Endless white stretched across the horizon, cold and lifeless. At the heart of this dimension stood an ancient palace, an enormous castle constructed of ice and strange, otherworldly materials.

This was where Kaguya had once resided.

Inside the castle, numerous scrolls left behind by Kaguya had once been stored. Unfortunately, many of them had already been destroyed, leaving only fragments of knowledge behind.

When Urashiki first arrived on Earth, he had immediately entered this space. He searched through what remained, gathering any useful information he could find. After analyzing it carefully and piecing together what was missing through investigation and deduction, he finally formed a general understanding of Earth's situation.

Later, when Momoshiki and Kinshiki arrived beneath the starry sky, it was Urashiki who handed over all the information he had compiled. After reading it, Momoshiki finally understood what had happened on Earth.

That was right—Momoshiki never directly read Kaguya's records.

Everything he knew came from Urashiki's analysis.

Urashiki looked at the palace before him once more, then stepped inside. Deep within the castle, on a raised platform, stood an ancient altar. Carved upon it was a pattern belonging solely to Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.

Urashiki walked up to the altar and began carving.

First, he etched a section of his own pattern into the surface. Then, beside it, he carved another, far more complex pattern. When the carvings were complete, Urashiki activated his dōjutsu. His Byakugan transformed, evolving into the Rinnegan.

The Rinnegan seal shone brilliantly as its power flowed into the patterns before him. Through this resonance, the altar within Kaguya's castle responded.

Urashiki raised the chakra sphere in his hand.

An indescribable force enveloped it, lifting it slowly into the air. The chakra sphere rose upward and settled directly above the altar.

Boom!

The altar activated.

A deep rumbling echoed throughout the castle as a pillar of light shot straight into the sky. Within that radiant beam, a humanoid figure gradually appeared upon the altar.

Urashiki immediately knelt on one knee and said respectfully, "Respected Lord Ōtsutsuki!"

This was the unique summoning method of the Ōtsutsuki clan. Even if separated by trillions of light-years, the altar could be activated through these markings, allowing communication through image projection.

The price for such communication was chakra.

And not just any chakra.

This method consumed an enormous amount of energy—far more than ordinary chakra reserves could sustain. Only chakra on the level of a tailed beast could support such a connection and allow even a few minutes of conversation.

The projected figure of the Ōtsutsuki God gazed down at Urashiki. Even though it was merely an image, the pressure from his eyes alone was overwhelming.

"Urashiki," the Ōtsutsuki God said coldly, his voice calm and emotionless. "Tell me. How did Momoshiki die?"

His eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke.

Urashiki lowered his head further and replied respectfully, "Great Ōtsutsuki God. After Lord Momoshiki and Lord Kinshiki arrived on Earth together, I handed over all the information I had gathered in advance. Lord Momoshiki then took Kinshiki to recover chakra. However, none of us anticipated that humans capable of wielding chakra would exist on this planet. Lord Momoshiki and Lord Kinshiki were ultimately defeated and destroyed by them."

"Oh?"

The Ōtsutsuki God seemed momentarily surprised. Then he asked, "Is this related to Kaguya's betrayal?"

Urashiki nodded immediately. "Yes, Great Lord Ōtsutsuki. By the way, this is all the information I collected, including my communications with Lord Momoshiki and the details of my battles with the humans here. Please review it."

As he spoke, Urashiki activated the Rinnegan and transmitted all the stored information.

When the transmission ended, Urashiki wiped the sweat from his brow and swallowed a chakra pill to replenish his energy.

There was no choice. This method of communication consumed a terrifying amount of chakra.

The Ōtsutsuki God finished reading everything in a single second. Then he let out a cold snort.

"That traitor Kaguya… She actually allowed such low-level creatures to master the power of chakra. Worse, she let the blood of my clan flow among them."

Urashiki nodded. "Yes, Great Lord Ōtsutsuki. I investigated human history. The one who truly taught these low-level creatures how to obtain chakra was the child born from Kaguya and the humans of this world. They call him the Sage of Six Paths. Later, his son Indra taught humans how to use seals, allowing them to wield chakra and unleash powerful techniques."

The Ōtsutsuki God snorted again.

"Interesting. Truly interesting. It seems there are some fascinating creatures in this universe. Their bodies resemble ours, yet they possess such intelligence. That alone is remarkable."

Urashiki smiled faintly but did not respond.

He understood perfectly. The Ōtsutsuki God was not merely impressed that humans had learned chakra—he was astonished that they had learned how to use it effectively, to the point of defeating Momoshiki and Kinshiki.

That was nearly inconceivable.

After several seconds of silence, the Ōtsutsuki God spoke again, his tone heavy.

"The two humans who fought you are intriguing. Especially the blond-haired boy with immense chakra hidden within his body. He is… strange."

Urashiki's heart skipped a beat.

This was the first time he had ever heard the Ōtsutsuki God describe someone as "strange."

He asked cautiously, "Great Lord Ōtsutsuki, with your wisdom, do you sense something unusual about Naruto?"

The Ōtsutsuki God replied decisively, "Yes. There appears to be a layer of something upon him. That thing seems connected to the secret of my clan's resurrection."

Urashiki frowned. "You mean… Naruto possesses a Kāma seal?"

The Ōtsutsuki God considered it briefly before replying, "It resembles it, but it is not entirely the same."

Urashiki felt a deep sense of unease.

If Naruto truly possessed a Kāma seal, then who had implanted it?

The Kāma was the Ōtsutsuki clan's method of resurrection—condensing all information of their being at the moment of death and embedding it into a suitable vessel.

Was it Kaguya?

Impossible. Kaguya was sealed within the moon.

Could it be Isshiki Ōtsutsuki?

That seemed unlikely as well. Isshiki was already ancient beyond measure.

Urashiki had searched for Isshiki after arriving on Earth but found no trace of him. He had assumed Isshiki was truly dead.

Yet now, doubts resurfaced.

If Isshiki was still alive, hiding in the shadows, then perhaps he had been unable to resurrect because the vessel he found was unsuitable. If Naruto had truly been chosen as Isshiki's next vessel, then logically, Naruto should have already undergone transformation.

But that hadn't happened.

Naruto's body was extraordinarily strong, capable of containing the full chakra of the Nine-Tails. By all logic, he should be the perfect vessel.

So it couldn't be Isshiki.

If it wasn't Kaguya, and it wasn't Isshiki… then who was it?

Urashiki was deeply confused.

He recalled how Naruto had behaved during their first meeting—calling him by name without hesitation, greeting him as if they were already acquainted.

Now, even the Ōtsutsuki God suspected the presence of a "Kāma-like" existence.

This was troubling.

The Ōtsutsuki God looked at Urashiki and said solemnly, "Urashiki, I now appoint you as a guardian. I will dispatch new forces to assist you. For now, remain dormant and continue gathering information. You are not required to hand over chakra. Additionally, investigate whether Isshiki is still alive."

Urashiki bowed deeply. "Yes, Great Lord Ōtsutsuki!"

"By the way," Urashiki added carefully, "what about the human called Naruto?"

The Ōtsutsuki God paused for a moment. "Do not act on him for now. Be wary of those capable of defeating Momoshiki."

Urashiki nodded in obedience.

The Ōtsutsuki God glanced once more at the nearly depleted chakra sphere beside the altar. "That will be all, Urashiki."

With a low hum, the projection vanished.

Urashiki rose to his feet. His Rinnegan faded, reverting back into a Byakugan. The chakra sphere had been almost completely consumed, leaving only a small remnant behind.

A little was still a little.

Urashiki calmly stored what remained.

After all, even scraps of tailed beast chakra were far too valuable to waste.
