Chapter 176 – Goku's Curiosity, the Elder Supreme Kai Appears
"...But I know that detestable guy is definitely afraid of my power..."
Only Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito listened seriously to the impassioned and righteously indignant words.
Meanwhile, Son Goku was quietly discussing something with Gohan. Without warning, he suddenly fired a small energy blast at the Elder Supreme Kai, who had been speaking.
Fortunately, Goku had only used a minimal amount of power to test the waters, but the Elder Supreme Kai didn't have time to react and was blasted away instantly.

The Elder Supreme Kai landed face-first in the dirt, covered in dust and motionless. Shin and Kibito's eyes widened in shock. Once they snapped out of it, they rushed over to check on him in a panic.
"Ancestor...!"
After a quick check, they confirmed he wasn't seriously hurt, and both finally let out a sigh of relief.
Propped up with help, the Elder Supreme Kai roared furiously at Goku, "You idiot! What the hell are you doing..."
"To attack me out of nowhere like that... You brainless fool! How dare you be so disrespectful to a Supreme Kai... I won't forgive you!!"
He shouted angrily as he tried to lunge at Goku, looking ready to beat him up. Thankfully, Supreme Kai Shin and Kibito held him back.
If Lin Qi were here, he'd probably joke, "Isn't this just a second-rate lackey being held back by his master?"
"What the heck..." Goku scratched his nose, clearly unimpressed. "He's not nearly as impressive as he claims."
The Elder Supreme Kai was having none of it. After ranting, he immediately began boasting about his powers, bragging as if there were none like him in the heavens or on earth.
This finally piqued Goku's curiosity—but he knew how to deal with this kind of old man!
Gohan, however, was starting to lose patience. He was still waiting for the Elder Supreme Kai to help unlock his potential, but his dad kept derailing the situation.
"Dad... you've made him mad. Hurry up and apologize!"
But Goku didn't care in the slightest. Acting overly familiar, he said to the Elder Supreme Kai, "Man, you're a tough one to deal with..."
"How about this? Next time, I'll bring you Master Roshi's secret stash of yellow magazines! Now tell me—just how amazing are your powers?"
"Hey, hey..." Supreme Kai Shin protested, sounding upset. "Goku, what are you saying? My ancestor would never look at that kind of..."
Before he could finish, the Elder Supreme Kai turned away disdainfully. "What's the point of that stuff? If I want to watch, I can see it live..."
"There are all kinds of species in the universe... bathing, changing clothes, even xxoo..."
"Ancestor..." Listening to this, Supreme Kai Shin's face burned red with a mix of pain and shame.
"Ancestor! You're a Supreme Kai—how can you say something so disgraceful?!"
But the Elder Supreme Kai was completely unfazed, glancing at Shin with disdain. "People like you will never understand, much less appreciate..."

The drool forming at the corner of his lips left Shin speechless. He covered his face in exasperation. "You guys..."
Gohan shook his head helplessly. He no longer knew what direction things were going in anymore.
Goku thought for a moment, then quickly leaned in close to the Elder Supreme Kai and whispered, "How about I let you touch a pretty girl?"
"Real boobs and a real butt..."
"R-Really?! Heh heh..." The Elder Supreme Kai was overjoyed, grinning as he stared at Goku. "You better not be lying to me!"
Goku gave Gohan a thumbs-up behind the old man's back. As expected, all old geezers are the same—weak to that kind of bait. Too easy!
He'd already perfected this trick dealing with Master Roshi!
"Hey, Dad..." Even though they were whispering, none of the people present were ordinary. Gohan pulled Goku aside with a frown.
"You're dead, remember? Where are you going to find a girl for him to grope? You can't just make reckless promises—especially about that!"
But Goku remained unconcerned. He patted Gohan on the shoulder. "Wasn't there that little girl who used to follow you around...? She'll do."
"Just ask her to let the Elder Supreme Kai cop a feel. You two seem close—just have her help out!"
"No way!" Gohan refused flat-out. Let Videl do something like that? Not a chance!
"Can't we talk this out?" Seeing how firm Gohan was, Goku rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I don't know any young girls personally..."
"What about someone a little older?"
The Elder Supreme Kai didn't mind at all. Still grinning lecherously, he said, "Doesn't matter! If she's got that mature charm, I'm all for it!"
"Perfect..." Goku clapped Gohan on the shoulder excitedly. "Then it's settled—Bulma it is! Gohan, you..."
"No." Gohan shook his head again. He wasn't going to be part of this nonsense.
"It's fine, really..." Goku tried everything to persuade him, but seeing Gohan absolutely refusing, he turned back to the Elder Supreme Kai.
"So, your power or whatever—is it really strong enough to defeat Majin Buu?!"
"Well, I can't say for sure... but Majin Buu or whoever—yeah, he can be beaten!" The Elder Supreme Kai's words weren't exactly firm, but his tone was confident.

Goku tried once more to convince Gohan, who continued to resist.

As if summoned by fate, Lin Qi and Vegeta happened to arrive on the Supreme Kai's World at that very moment.

Caught in this bizarre atmosphere—Gohan speechless, Vegeta confused, and Lin Qi looking like he understood everything—
The Elder Supreme Kai, still being held back by Shin and Kibito, flashed a pervy, satisfied grin.
"So, about that incredible power you mentioned..." Goku urged.
Now that the "deal" was sealed, it was time to get down to business.
After some discussion, Vegeta frowned and looked at Lin Qi. "Unleashing hidden potential beyond one's limits?!"
"Seems like you know quite a bit!"
"You, go stand over there. If you can draw out and wield the Z Sword, and with my help—you becoming the number one in the universe isn't just a dream!" The Elder Supreme Kai began giving directions.
Lin Qi, however, walked right up to him with a calm smile. "How long does it take to unlock potential?"
"Well of course it takes a really, really long time! This is a super remarkable ability I have..."
