A week had passed.
"I think it's time," Ryan said, watching her from across the kitchen. He needed to own her, he needed the access that came with being her husband, he had his plans already, all he needed now was to fulfil them.
Arianna looked up from her glass of juice.
"Time for what?" she had just gotten back from work, they spent most nights in her apartment, it made sense that way. It was easier for her to get to work and he could always see her, he was hiding his double life perfectly from her already.
He smiled.
"The wedding." He watched her expression, it wasn't repulsive, that was good news.
She blinked. "You mean, like, actually pick a date? We just got engaged less than a week ago, even though there was no ring."
Ryan walked over and leaned on the counter.
