"That can't be! There must be some mistake somewhere." Miguel's voice trembled as he recoiled from the accusation.
He was certain he had never betrayed Elisa when they were still married. "I have been faithful to my ex-wife! Maybe the lab made some mistake!"
He was always faithful to her although he never had feeling attached to her, then. But he never committed adultery, so how can he be having a child?.
"Mr patriarch, let's first find the child and the mother," Bruce interjected, his brow furrowed with concern. "Only then shall we know who the father is, whether it's Miguel or not."
Confusion clouded Miguel's thoughts, but he felt a stirring deep within him, a call that he could not ignore.
But where were they going to start from? Neither did they know the name of the mother nor if the child.
"Hmmm, how do I even tell you Miguel that Elisa has a child? Or should I just tell him? No... I need to first be sure whether the child is his or not." Bruce said inwardly.
