Task: The Power of the Infinity Stones

Task Description: The Infinity Stones were forged from the essences of six singularities before the Big Bang.

They are almost the most powerful treasures in the universe. Gathering all six Infinity Stones can have a huge impact or change the entire universe. Of course, it is too difficult for you to gather all six Infinity Stones with your current strength, but you can still collect the power of the Infinity Stones. Whether for your own beautiful future or for the beautiful future of this world, you must do something.

Task Objective: Collect the power from the six Infinity Stones, no matter where they are or by what means.

Task Reward: Unknown.

Task Failure Penalty: None.

Looking at the familiar task panel, Noah's mouth twitched. An almost identical scene to twenty years ago reappeared, except this time the task seemed much more difficult than the last time he had to find something like the Spear of Longinus. However, Noah didn't ask too many questions. Aside from whether his system would answer such questions, just the fact that the system never issued a task with a failure penalty made Noah feel he didn't need to ask.

"I feel like this system, besides when it first appeared and seemed overly chuunibyou, its other performances have been pretty good, right?"

"Did I come out and say those embarrassing things just to get your attention and to make you fit the mage profession?"

Embarrassing? Noah stroked his chin. That phrase, "The Strongest Mage System is willing to serve you," certainly felt extremely embarrassing now. But he had to admit, at the time, Noah really fell for that, and back then, Noah thought his system would be some chatty type of thing.

But now, it seemed his system was more of the 'it will never proactively seek you out unless you seek it out yourself' and 'even if you seek it out, it might not even pay attention to you' type. It was incredibly aloof, completely lacking the goofy demeanor it had when it first lured him into the ranks of mages.

Shaking his head, Noah couldn't be bothered to dwell on these random thoughts. He now focused all his attention on this task. The last time, Noah benefited by jumping directly from the first tier to the third. This time, the danger level was higher, and the items to collect were even more terrifying. Noah wondered what benefits he would gain this time?

"Why don't you clearly state the task reward? Seriously," Noah asked, feeling a bit speechless.

"Because this is a temporary task. Do you want me to make these tasks mandatory, where you get obliterated if you fail?" The system remained cold.

"Forget it, I don't think you can do something like mutually assured destruction, and I don't want to die either."

"Understood, then stop wasting time."

Noah rolled his eyes, no longer bothering to think about this task. To be honest, it wasn't simple, because out of the six gems, only one was relatively difficult for Noah to obtain; the others were manageable! The Time Stone and Space Stone were already in Noah's hands. While the Mind Stone wasn't, Loki's scepter had Noah's magic signal on it, making it incredibly easy to find! As for the Reality Stone, if there were no surprises, it would likely appear in London soon, and Noah would just need to go there. For the Power Stone, Noah had a plan; he'd just drag Thor along to find 'Star-Lord' Quill. Noah wasn't Quill's father, so he wasn't worried about being inexplicably eliminated by him.

The only difficult one was probably the Soul Stone. This one had to be taken from Vormir, requiring the sacrifice of a beloved soul. Noah absolutely couldn't do this; he wouldn't kill someone he loved for a gem.

"Even Thanos had to choose revenge and tearfully eliminate Gamora, and Thanos's strength should be tenth-tier. If even he had to obey, what else could I do?"

However, the system's task objective also provided some hints: the system didn't seem to care about where these gems were from, or what means Noah used to obtain them. This hint gave Noah a lot of room to maneuver. He now felt that the task the Ancient One had him accept was indeed very necessary.

"What happens in other parallel universes has nothing to do with me. When the time comes, I'll help them fight Thanos, or if I'm strong enough, I'll just solve Thanos for

them."

With these thoughts clear, Noah's subsequent time

became much simpler. The task couldn't be completed immediately, and there was no time limit, so Noah could take his time. Therefore, he wasn't in a hurry to reclaim the Mind Stone. He chose to slowly study the powers of

the Space Stone and the Time Stone.

Indeed, after celebrating Christmas, a traditional holiday for ordinary people, Noah didn't rest. He directly extracted the power of the Time Stone as well. He didn't extract much, as he wasn't very familiar with this power. However, to Noah's surprise, the Time Stone's power didn't seem to repel Noah much, nor was it as compatible as the Space Stone.

This surprised Noah, as there seemed to be a slight mutual repulsion and neutralizing effect between the gems. For instance, the Mind Stone could cancel out the Space Stone's power to close wormholes, and Tony's new element power, essentially conceived by Howard from the Tesseract, contained some of the Space Stone's power, which is why Tony wasn't controlled by Loki in the original story.

However, since this was Noah's situation, it was naturally a good thing. So, during this period, besides teaching Lily regularly, casually strolling with Ms Haifin, and keeping in touch with Hermione, Noah dedicated all his time to researching the power of the gems. Noah's system was also very efficient. Perhaps with enough energy support, its computational and deduction abilities grew stronger and stronger. It was rumored that it had already simply integrated the powers of time and space into the domain.

"But you still can't use it. Your strength is still too weak to control such a domain. Perhaps when you become stronger, you can try."

"Don't worry, though I'm greedy, I'm not a fool. Things will happen one step at a time, and I haven't even

acquired the power of light yet."

Speaking of the power of light, Noah started to get a headache again. It was arguably the only power not within Noah's plan. He had already gathered the powers of time and space, and he had obtained the power of darkness a long time ago and could even continuously acquire it. He was also very proficient with the four elemental powers. Only the power of light left Noah completely stumped.

"If I couldn't beat those angels and their boss, I'd seriously want to tear open heaven!"

Unable to find a solution, Noah ultimately decided to take things one step at a time. If he truly couldn't find a way, Noah might as well abandon the dark dragon clone, or actually venture into the cosmos to find the exact location of heaven.

To be honest, Noah had seen the angel 'remains' stored as specimens in a certain Ministry of Magic laboratory in London. However, these had already been processed and were pure energy bodies, not living beings, so Noah had to give up on them.

Time passed slowly. In the wizarding world, the new year seemed to bring no significant changes. Perhaps the only change was that Nagini, leading a large group of Blood-Cursed Beastmen, was heading towards Kamar-Taj. Their journey even made the local Ministry of Magic somewhat nervous. Fortunately, Noah's influence was sufficient. After Nagini mentioned Noah's name, these Ministry of Magic officials contacted Noah. Upon learning that everything was indeed arranged by Noah, they not only granted passage but also escorted Nagini and her group all the way to the border.

Mages were curious why Noah was gathering these Blood-Cursed Beastmen, but Noah's current status made it difficult to guess his intentions. So, other mages merely observed, while secretly pondering their future attitudes towards these Blood-Cursed Beastmen. Noah didn't dwell on what these mages were thinking. Of course, their questions were valid. Once the Kamar-Taj mages finished their training, the Blood-Cursed Beastmen would no longer be Blood-Cursed Beastmen; they would then be a new magical race called "Druids"!

Days passed like this, and suddenly one day, Noah felt a power, both familiar and utterly alien, erupting in London! This power immediately caught Noah's attention, and soon after it erupted, Noah felt another power from "above." The London sky had been relatively clear before, but with the appearance of this power, the sky instantly darkened, and a more distinct energy fluctuation came from overhead.

"What's going on?"

Noah led the mages out of the sanctuary. Ms Haifin looked up at the gathering dark clouds and asked, somewhat puzzled. Noah shrugged, just about to say something, when a seven-colored beam of light directly pierced through the clouds and shot down in front of them. As the light dissipated, a figure appeared.

"I was just about to say this guy was probably coming," Noah shrugged, explaining with a smile, then waved to Thor, "Hey, what brings you here? Coming to see Loki?"

"Hi! Hello, mages!" Thor wasn't in a good mood, he managed a smile back at the mages from the sanctuary, then glanced at Loki before turning to Noah with a serious expression, "Noah, I need your help."

Noah had already known what was happening after feeling the two power surges. What surprised Noah was that Thor seemed to completely ignore Loki this time.

What happened to "brother over everything else"? How could a woman change your mind?

You're not a fake Thor, are you?
