He leaned back and dodged another crossbow bolt as he redirected a strike from the knight. Then he kicked aside the head of the Spartan's spear. He had a number of cuts around his body. But he had not received any injuries that would be fatal or detrimental to his health.
He had noticed something while he was dodging and deflecting. Only these three were coming after him. The rest of the statues were standing further back out of the small radius that Jace, the Knight, and the Spartan were moving. The Ancient Chinese Crossbow warrior was standing further back and was firing each chance he got.
But as Jace moved he saw that there were additional enemies with ranged weapons. But they were not attacking. They were staying clear of the area they were fighting. They might be limiting themselves to three people at a time.
