He stepped through the door and into the red fog. As he did the world around him changed and he was no longer standing in his mental space. The place he was in now was completely different.
He could tell because he could see the sky. The sky was a blood red and was joined with a blood red moon that was shining faintly but was blocked partially by clouds that looked like the fog that he walked through. As well as the fog that was retreating from the nearby area.
As the fog retreated a number of figures were revealed. These figures all looked like they were carved out of stone or made of metal that was welded together. As he looked at them he started placing their origins.
