After the footsteps and sounds disappeared, I walked back over to one of the empty cells to see what I would need to get it open.
"It seems like the key to these is universal. If I could get my hands on the key, that would be for the best."
But getting the key was easier said than done. It wasn't like the key was just lying on the ground in front of me.
I looked around, trying to come up with ways to get one. The only place I knew where I could get a key was from the guards who came down here periodically to get the others out.
But there was a small issue. There were four of them and one of me. I didn't have any weapons on me, and I wasn't sure if I could single-handedly take on four grown and trained men alone, especially not in the state my body was in.
Maybe I can find something to use as a weapon down here.
I took a few steps back, noticing the door from earlier. If I were to find anything helpful, it was most likely going to be in there.
