Absoria, standing in the middle of the ruins of the battlefield, wore a cold and sinister smile. His eyes, once empty, had turned blood red. The entire earth seemed to stop under the weight of his oppressive aura. All his generals—even the most loyal—felt a visceral fear. Even Nitra stepped back, her hands trembling. Black, ethereal, and eerie butterflies began to float in the air around him, forming a macabre dance. Camelia, one of the closest to her master, murmured in a frightened voice, audible despite the turmoil:
"The Master… is angry. But this time… it's different."
Absoria, his smile growing darker and more menacing, turned toward Hylde, the god of Cataclysm.
"You… you're Hylde, aren't you?" he asked in an icy voice.
Hylde nodded, unable to hide the fear in his eyes. Absoria threatened both of them, Hylde and Kamiora, without losing his macabre smile.
"I didn't intend to go this far, but… I'll have to destroy your essences, prevent you from reincarnating. You… you've gone too far."
Kamiora, the god of Justice, felt the tension rise. Annoyed, but well aware of Absoria's strength, Absoria said bitterly this time:
"I didn't want to fight you. In truth, I wanted Celine to take her revenge, but you touched people you never should have."
Kamiora burst out laughing, a bitter and mocking laugh.
"Revenge? She isn't even capable of defeating me! and she can't even stay entirely in one piece!"
He looked at Celine with disdain. Absoria, who until then had kept his icy calm, gripped his sword Millios with dangerous intensity. Kamiora continued, his words filled with scornful fury:
"And that little one, she's not even capable of bearing the name I gave her! I, a god—it's me who gave her that name, and she changed it! Pathetic."
His gaze grew even darker as he threw one last provocation:
"Look, Celina, I'm going to kill your master to show you that he's weak, just like you."
Before Kamiora could even finish his sentence, Absoria drew Millios and, in a movement so fast it defied logic, hurled himself at Kamiora. The blow was so powerful that it sent the god flying more than 50 kilometers away, creating a shockwave that made the earth and sky tremble. Absoria's energy, far from fading, kept growing, seeming to have no limit. It spread across the entire planet, causing a wave of terror in every living being.
Entire countries were overwhelmed by collective fear. The leaders, powerless, looked to the sky with irrational dread. Some believed in the imminent apocalypse, while others gave in to looting and violence, unable to resist the omnipresent terror.
Melia, though weakened, felt this immeasurable energy. Trembling, she decided to follow the source of this power, curious to discover what being could project such strength. She flew through the skies, seeking to understand what was happening.
Meanwhile, Hylde desperately tried to come to Kamiora's aid. He rushed toward Absoria, but the latter didn't even need to move. He simply looked at him with a terrifying gaze that froze him in place.
"You really want to do this?" asked Absoria in a voice so cold it seemed to freeze the air.
Absoria's gaze hardened even more. He paused for a moment, thinking. Then, a sadistic smile slowly formed on his face.
"I just had an idea. Why eliminate you right away when I can torture you slowly, break you… little by little?"
This declaration froze the blood of both gods. Hylde and Kamiora, though accustomed to wars and battles, felt for the first time in their existence true fear. It was not the fear of death, but something far worse: eternal suffering, inflicted by a being whose power and cruelty surpassed everything they could imagine.
The two gods instinctively stepped back, realizing they were facing an entity that was no longer anything human or even divine. Absoria now embodied the void, the absolute nothingness—a force without mercy or emotion. He was the incarnation of the primordial void itself.
Celine, despite her weakness, watched the scene, a tear rolling down her cheek. She had never seen her master in such a state. Even in her hatred toward Kamiora, she could feel that something darker was awakening in Absoria.
But deep down, she knew that her master was only protecting what was dear to him. No matter the monstrosity he seemed to have become, he was still her master—the god of the Void and Evil, the one who had saved her and so many others.
The sky was tinged with a black shadow, and the hour of vengeance, of punishment, was approaching.
