Chapter 17 - Title: Twilight of the Gods

The battle between Celine and her father, Kamiora, was reaching a critical point. She was fighting with all her strength, hatred and pain feeding each of her blows. She had used all her power, but Kamiora, with his superhuman strength and divine experience, ended up piercing her with a sword. Celine collapsed to the ground, seriously injured.

On the other side, Garu was facing Hylde, the god of Cataclysm. Their battle was so intense that earthquakes and storms occurred in the surroundings. The elements themselves seemed to rage, reflecting the ferocity of the duel. Maria, Nitra, Amaterasu, and Jeanne watched helplessly, while Horus and Lucifuge finally arrived on the battlefield.

Garu, brought to his knees by Hylde, was at his limit. At that moment, Styr and Camelia, the two generals of Absoria, finally made their appearance. Garu, surprised to see them, asked with difficulty:

"What are you doing here?"

Styr, looking serious, replied: "The Master is coming, but in the meantime, we must hold these two off. Camelia, go help Celine, I'll take care of this one with Garu."

Camelia flew off without wasting a second to join Celine, who was fighting against Kamiora with the little strength she had left. Maria, seeing the arrival of Styr and Camelia, murmured hopefully:

"If they are here… then that means… dad is close."

She turned to Nitra, her face marked by exhaustion, and said: "Mom, let's go help them!"

Nitra, understanding her daughter's determination, ordered her four generals to join the battle. Together, they flew to lend a hand to the fighters. The battlefield was chaos made of divine and destructive powers. The gods of the sky, feeling their superiority, prepared to deliver the final blow.

"Hylde! It's time to finish everything," shouted Kamiora.

Hylde, with an overwhelming power, struck Garu and the others with such force that they were all thrown to the other side of the world. Even Nitra, Amaterasu, and Camelia could not resist the impact. Maria, despite her determination, found herself powerless before the gods' power.

On the other side of the world, the governments of the different nations, watching the events from below, gathered urgently to discuss the threat. The planet itself seemed to be in peril under the force of the gods.

Camelia and the other generals were on the ground, desperate. They knew they were about to die. Maria, for her part, was desperately trying to reach her mother's hand, but Hylde brutally crushed her hand under his foot before hitting her again. Maria screamed in pain, while Nitra, unable to move, watched her daughter being tortured, tears running down her cheeks. She wanted to intervene, but she could do nothing.

Suddenly, an unknown voice resonated in Camelia's mind.

"I congratulate you for having resisted so long, even though you knew you had a chance to die."

Camelia, eyes wide open, shouted: "Master!"

All heard the voice, but only the generals of Absoria understood what was happening. A breach opened in the sky, tearing space and time apart, and a dark figure emerged: a man with black hair, with two majestic black wings. Maria, weakened and covered in blood, raised her eyes and managed to smile despite her pain. Hylde, perplexed, asked defiantly:

"Why are you smiling, little one?"

Maria did not answer but looked at the man with eyes full of hope. Absoria, the god of the Void and Evil, her father, made a majestic entrance and, in a quick and precise movement, struck Hylde with a blow. He caught Maria, holding her in his arms with an unexpected tenderness for such a feared god.

"I am proud of you, my dear daughter. You fought like a true warrior," he said softly.

Maria, coughing blood, murmured weakly: "Dad… you came…"

Absoria smiled, his gaze full of affection. "Yes, I am here."

He slowly descended toward Nitra, who, still in shock, looked at this man who had just saved her daughter. Absoria turned to her and said calmly:

"I don't know if you remember who I am, but I will explain everything. Maybe one day you will be able to forgive me for what I did to you."

Nitra remained silent, lost in incomprehension and shock.

After entrusting Maria to Amaterasu so that she could be treated, Absoria flew up, ready to face the two gods. Hylde and Kamiora prepared for a final confrontation, but this time, Absoria was no longer alone. His generals, gathering their strength, rose one by one. A new energy, inspired by their master, filled them. The true battle between the Void and the heavens had begun, and this time, the gods of the sky no longer had the advantage.

Nitra, still shaken, could not help but wonder who this man really was, this being who had saved her daughter and now stood against the gods…
