Fu Ling got to the capital and it seemed like the crown prince couldn't wait to convict Xandros. He had been taken straight to military court and the hearing was publicly aired live.
Fu Ling stopped at the base and got Reign to drive him to court because he didn't have a license.
On getting there,he thanked Reign and walked in but happened to meet the crown prince at the door.
August smiled sarcastically looking at Fu Ling's uniform
"If it isn't the First Unit's best officer."
Fu Ling smiled
"Thank you. I didn't realize the crown prince valued me so much"
August gritted his teeth but took a breath to calm down.
"Noel told me he saw you. I thought he was just being jealous again. Who knew you were actually in the capital. And you had allied yourself with the general. It's no wonder I couldn't find you "
Fu Ling shook his head
"No, you're just incompetent. Is the crown prince going to keep holding me back?"
