Xandros drove with many thoughts in his mind. He couldn't remember when last he had seen his biological parents.
He was adopted by the Reed family while he was still a boy in swaddling clothes. He had always thought he was their own son until the king secretly approached him some years ago claiming to be his biological father.
He didn't want to believe it but the test reports were obvious. Thankfully he looked nothing like the man. He wanted nothing to do with the palace and refused to go back.

Xandros got to the palace and was led in by the attendants. He saw both the crown prince and princess and they both greeted him warmly.
Xandros observed the crown princess for two more seconds and noticed that the man was subtly avoiding his gaze. He turned away and walked straight into the king's chambers.
