John asked Goku, "Goku, where are you going later?"
Goku thought for a moment and replied, "I'm going to Master Roshi first. What about you, John?"
John said, "I'm going to Bulma's place to see if she has finished building the 50x gravity room."
"Besides that, I also want to ask her and Uncle to help build a spaceship."
"A spaceship?! Are you planning to go into space?" Goku asked in surprise.
John nodded and said, "Yes, on Earth, we are already the strongest. We don't have any opponents, so if we want to improve our strength, we can go into space to find new opponents."
Goku's interest was immediately piqued. He was no longer interested in adventures on Earth, and upon hearing John's plan, he immediately expressed his desire to join John on his space adventure.
John agreed without hesitation.
After bidding farewell to Master Roshi, the two flew off in separate directions, one heading towards Master Roshi's house and the other towards Bulma's house in West City.
As John and Goku's strength increased, their flying speed with the Bukujutsu technique also became extremely fast. In no time, John arrived above Bulma's house and landed in the courtyard.
Bulma's mother was in the courtyard watering the flowers. When she saw John descend from the sky, her eyes lit up with a smile.
She put down the watering can she was holding and immediately grabbed John's muscular arm.
Bulma's mother said with a smile, "John, it's been a long time since we last met. Do you miss Auntie? Do you want to go on a date with me later?"
John smiled awkwardly and said, "Auntie, please don't joke like that."
"Oh, John, you're so unromantic. You're not as fun as Yamcha." Bulma's mother complained.
John could only force a smile and didn't dare to say anything more.
Seeing John's lack of enthusiasm, Bulma's mother didn't pursue the matter further. Instead, she asked directly, "Are you here to see Bulma? She should be in her lab."
"I wonder what she's always busy with in there. Yamcha hasn't visited in a long time either," she said as she walked towards the house.
As Bulma's mother left, John breathed a sigh of relief and quickly headed towards Bulma's lab.
"Bulma, are you in there?"
"Come in, the door's not locked," Bulma's voice came from inside.
John pushed the door open and saw Bulma busy with something in the lab. He couldn't help but ask curiously, "Bulma, what are you up to?"
At that moment, Bulma was working in front of a computer.
She turned around and saw John, then replied, "It's the 50x gravity control room you asked for. I'm arranging for the robots to manufacture it."
Suddenly, Bulma seemed to remember something and exclaimed, "Wait, aren't you supposed to be at the Temple of God, training with the gods? How come you're back after only two days?"
As she spoke, she realized that although it had only been two days since they last met, John had undergone a significant transformation compared to two days ago, appearing more mature.
"You..." Bulma wanted to say something but couldn't find the right words.
"Do I look older?" John asked.
Bulma quickly nodded.
John then explained to Bulma about the Spirit Time Room in the Temple of God, which immediately sparked Bulma's research interest. She said, "This is indeed a great research subject. When you go back to the Temple of God, you must take me with you. I want to thoroughly study the principles of the room."
John immediately nodded, feeling a bit dissatisfied that he could only stay in the Spirit Time Room for two days. He wished Bulma could modify the room to extend the time.
"Yes, what did you come to me for today? Don't tell me you just wanted to hang out with me. I know you, you're a training maniac," Bulma said as she sat down and continued working on her computer.
John smiled awkwardly, thinking that ever since he arrived in the Dragon Ball world, he had been busy training.
But this wasn't what he wanted. In the early stages of Dragon Ball, the enemies appeared so frequently and were so powerful that he had to train hard to survive. He couldn't rely on Goku to save him all the time.
Bulma noticed John's awkwardness and didn't say anything more. Instead, she asked, "What's on your mind? What do you want me to help you with?"
John said, "Bulma, what do you think about us building a spaceship?"
"A spaceship?" Bulma was taken aback and then asked, "Is Earth not enough for you? Are you planning to cause trouble on other planets?"
"I'm not joking. I'm serious," John continued.
Seeing John's seriousness, Bulma stopped joking and said, "Technically, I don't think we'll have any problems. For example, the materials for our 50x gravity room should be suitable for spaceship construction. Moreover, we've almost completed testing the materials for the 100x gravity room."
"The only difficulty now is the spaceship's engine and power source. That's what we need to consider. If we can get a spaceship sample to study, it would be great."
"A sample?" John thought for a moment and said, "No problem. You can start with theoretical research, and I'll go out to find a spaceship sample for you."
"Can I borrow the Dragon Radar?" John asked.
"The Dragon Radar? Do you want to use Shenron to obtain spaceship manufacturing technology?" Bulma's eyes lit up, and she said excitedly, "That's a great idea. When we summon Shenron, we can ask him."
"I was thinking of asking Shenron where there are spaceships on Earth so that we can bring them here for you to study."
Bulma immediately nodded and took out the Dragon Radar from her drawer, handing it to John. She urged, "Hurry up and go collect the Dragon Balls."
So, John began his journey to collect the Dragon Balls for the second time since arriving in the Dragon Ball world.
Soon, John had gathered all seven Dragon Balls and summoned Shenron in Bulma's courtyard.
Seeing the gigantic Shenron again, both John and Bulma were filled with emotion. They realized that their reunion was made possible by Shenron, so they felt a sense of familiarity rather than fear.
"Speak your wishes, no matter what they are, I can make them come true," Shenron's majestic voice interrupted John and Bulma's reminiscence.
"Can you teach us how to build advanced spaceships?" Bulma asked.
"That's too easy," Shenron said. As he spoke, his eyes glowed red, and Bulma instantly felt her mind filled with knowledge about spaceship construction.
After fulfilling Bulma's wish, Shenron continued, "Your wish is too simple. I'll give you some extra gifts."
As Shenron spoke, his eyes flashed red, and several spaceship-like objects appeared in the air above Bulma's courtyard, as if they had been teleported by Shenron.
"These are spaceships that recently fell to Earth. Consider them my gift to you," Shenron said.
After speaking, Shenron transformed back into the Dragon Balls and flew high into the sky, ready to scatter. John seized the opportunity and intercepted the Dragon Balls.
