Chapter 194: Monster War
Height: 119.8 meters (393 feet)
Tail Length: 177.4 meters (582 feet)
Weight: 99,634 tons
These were the original stats of Legendary Godzilla.
However, after absorbing nuclear radiation and nuclear fuel, converting energy into mass, the enormous energy caused Legendary Godzilla's height to exceed 135 meters, while its tail length became even more exaggerated—over 190 meters!
Its weight reached a terrifying 283,800 tons!
In the original timeline, when Godzilla fought Kong, Legendary Godzilla had only grown to 120 meters in height and weighed 164,000 tons. Its skeletal tensile strength was immense, and its atomic breath could release 315 terajoules of energy—equivalent to 8.3 megatons of TNT, just shy of a 10-megaton nuclear bomb.
But now, it had fully surpassed its former limits. Chang Wei could perceive through molecular data that Legendary Godzilla's atomic breath energy had exceeded 100 megatons of TNT!
A qualitative leap—given its sheer mass, the fact that its flesh remained intact and wasn't torn from its bones under gravity meant that its muscle fiber density and flesh composition had reached unfathomable levels of strength.
---
"Not good! Godzilla has broken free!"
"Impossible! That was the 'Divine' Seal!"
"Our submarines are all gone! The undersea base has lost contact! The naval fleet has been wiped out!"
"Godzilla is moving... Its target might be the West Coast!"
Human forces never expected Godzilla to escape. They assumed it was merely struggling, believing it impossible to break free from the "Divine" suppression.
But when they witnessed Godzilla truly liberated, their minds went blank.
"ROAR——!!!"
Godzilla unleashed a deafening roar that tore through the sky. Its terrifying atomic breath blasted straight into the heavens, a blue energy beam piercing deep into space, vanishing into the unknown.
"Godzilla's atomic breath has become even stronger!!!"
"The energy output now exceeds one exajoule!"
"Are you kidding?! That's stronger than the Tsar Bomba!"
Humanity was in disbelief. In such a short time, not only had Godzilla broken free from the Divine Seal, but it had also become even stronger?!
---
Just freed, Godzilla was furious. It immediately charged toward the Ghidorah-Godzilla hybrid to destroy it.
On the West Coast, Godzilla made landfall—it sensed the presence of an "abnormal entity" here.
But the city had already been devastated by the hybrid. No humans remained.
The two colossal beasts met. Legendary Godzilla was dumbfounded.
Legendary Godzilla: What the hell is this thing?
It sensed a familiar aura, yet mixed with something repulsive—an unnatural presence. Naturally, it came to investigate. But when it saw the hybrid…
What the hell? Why does it look so weird?
The Ghidorah-Godzilla hybrid saw both its old nemesis and its "mother", yet instead of submission, Legendary Godzilla attacked first—this enraged the hybrid!
Both of its Ghidorah heads on the arms and tail fired gravitational beams at Legendary Godzilla.
"ZAP ZAP ZAP!!!"
Caught off guard, Legendary Godzilla was struck—explosions erupted across its body, flesh and blood splattering!
If the hybrid was merely a fusion of Ghidorah and Godzilla's DNA, it might not have been a match for Legendary Godzilla. But Chang Wei had added Monster Cells.
Monster Cells had incredible potential—they could even create Dragon-level monsters. Some Dragon-level Monster, if placed in this world, could probably solo Legendary Godzilla without much difficulty.
Let alone the fact that these Monster Cells were cultivated using the DNA of two Monster Kings.
A naturally strong organism, enhanced further with limitless evolutionary potential—this wasn't a simple 1+1 equation.
Had Legendary Godzilla not grown significantly stronger, this one gravitational beam alone could have reduced it to ashes—just like what happened to Mothra.
Now, it only looked severe, but Legendary Godzilla wasn't seriously hurt.
Still, getting injured only enraged it further.
"ROAR——!!!"
Legendary Godzilla gathered energy, then unleashed a devastating atomic breath!
The energy output was so immense that even its own massive body was pushed backward by the sheer force.
The Ghidorah-Godzilla hybrid refused to back down.
It opened its mouths, charging its own energy attack—a plasma heat beam entwined with gravitational beams!
Both arms and the head on its tail also discharged electricity, enhancing the gravitational beams to further amplify the energy output.
The two titanic energy blasts collided head-on!
The impact triggered a cataclysmic explosion, causing visible air distortions and shockwaves. The light from the explosion outshone a thousand suns.
Both monsters were engulfed in the fiery blast!
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!!"
Everything in the surrounding area was annihilated, reduced to a flattened wasteland.
---
"Our city…"
The humans watched in horror.
The ruins of the West Coast were completely gone.
The once glorious monuments of civilization were now nothing but dust.
Under the relentless energy radiation, matter had been vaporized into microscopic particles, invisible to the human eye—effectively erased from existence.
Not even nuclear weapons could achieve such complete obliteration.
Yet now, two monsters had done it effortlessly.
Not to mention, there still existed a being capable of controlling lightning, storms, and tsunamis—"God" itself.
---
As the smoke cleared, Legendary Godzilla emerged—charred and steaming.
"ROAR————!!!"
It was fine. It could fight again!
Though its outer skin was scorched, leaving it crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it didn't care.
The Ghidorah-Godzilla hybrid also let out a shrill roar.
Half of its body had melted, but it was already regenerating at incredible speed.
Its flesh writhed, rapidly growing back before their very eyes.
The humans watching no longer even felt despair.
These creatures were already practically invincible—what was the point of fighting anymore?
Unless they carpet-bombed them with nuclear weapons indefinitely, how else were they supposed to kill these things?!
---
"Is our monster ready?"
Of course, humanity wasn't just sitting idly by.
Some factions had attempted to create their own Kaiju through hybrid experiments and human trials.
Others believed that science was the true path forward.
After all, science had allowed humanity to conquer ignorance and weakness, once placing them at the top of the food chain.
Why not continue down this path?
Perhaps one day, they could become like those in science fiction—gods themselves, surpassing even divinity!
And so—Mechagodzilla was born.
Chang Wei couldn't even be bothered to complain about the way his influence had warped the story.
But then again... maybe this outcome was inevitable.
It seemed like humanity's tech tree was completely scuffed.
