Eddie was feeling quite bored and let out a yawn as he gave Eevee the command.
"Vui~~~"
Although Eevee wanted to sound more fierce, its cry and appearance only made it seem adorable.
Then flames began covering its entire body as it used an attack similar to Flare Blitz, violently ramming into the Gloom ahead of them.
This move was a partner technique with performance similar to Flare Blitz, but naturally not as powerful. However, it had no recoil damage, and this move would also inflict the burned status condition on the enemy.

Eevee saw the Dodrio and cried out disdainfully. Without even evolving, it directly attacked with Buzzy Buzz.
Dodrio charged forward very quickly, appearing reckless and aggressive, then was struck by Eevee's electric attack.
It screamed in pain, then realized it had picked the wrong opponent and immediately tried to flee. However, it discovered it was paralyzed and couldn't move properly.

Not only had Ralts leveled up significantly, but Venusaur and Blastoise had both gained a level as well. It seemed that Dodrio's level had indeed been quite respectable.

Ralts was now emitting the white light of evolution while sitting on Eddie's shoulder. Such bright light was quite dazzling, especially since it was sitting so close to his eyes.
Fortunately, Eddie was well prepared. Before Eevee had defeated Dodrio, he had quickly taken out and put on the sunglasses he had prepared earlier.

Eddie said calmly as he picked up the glowing Ralts and placed it on the ground, then watched as Ralts evolved.
"Kirlia~~~~"
The evolution was complete.
The Ralts standing before Eddie was no longer the shy little one from before.
Now it was Kirlia, who possessed courage and maintained a positive, optimistic attitude.
Kirlia still seemed a bit confused at this moment.
Compared to Gible, a naturally battle-loving Pokémon that would rush into anything without concern, Kirlia was more puzzled about why it could evolve so easily without having battled at all.
"Don't overthink it. Let's go—you'll evolve again soon."
Eddie comforted Kirlia, who nodded and then began dancing happily.
This was completely different from the shy and timid Ralts from moments before. After evolving into Kirlia, its personality had quickly changed. It was much more lively than before and was now dancing with joy.
Although it hadn't received a complete answer, Kirlia naturally trusted that Eddie wouldn't harm it, so it stopped questioning further.
Eddie, of course, continued his leveling activities at this point. He needed to upgrade Kirlia to level 30 and evolve it into Gardevoir before it could effectively battle in this region.

"Ding! Congratulations! Your Kirlia has evolved into Gardevoir! Learned Dazzling Gleam!"
"Perfect. Now I have a Gardevoir that can both battle beautifully and effectively. I can finally let it participate in real fights."
Eddie looked at the stunning Shiny Gardevoir before him with great satisfaction, thinking that it was truly worthy of being a Pokémon that many people admired deeply. Whether considering strength or appearance, its beauty was absolutely remarkable.
