{Chapter: 347 Don't resist!}

Lin Yuan's simple question caught Feng Dahai slightly off guard, making his heart skip a beat.

Of course, he knew exactly where Yanyue Company's mask production plant was located—how could he not? During their entire past collaboration, all the facial mask sheets were delivered directly to that factory. It was standard procedure. But today, he had chosen to bring the goods directly to the company headquarters.

His decision was deliberate.

It wasn't because of forgetfulness or a logistical error. Rather, it was a calculated move. He had hoped that showing up in person, alongside the facial mask sheets, would serve as a grand gesture of sincerity—an offering to Lin Yuan that might soften his stance and mask Feng Dahai's real intention.

Because deep down, Feng Dahai had no plans of staying in Jiangbei.

This entire visit was his last-ditch attempt to avoid a total fallout. He thought that showing some humility—coming with a wagging tail like a tamed dog—might be enough to appease Lin Yuan. Perhaps even earn some pity or understanding.

But unexpectedly, Lin Yuan saw right through him with a single question.

It wasn't even aggressive. Lin Yuan had asked it casually, with a faint smile, like a person who already knew the answer but wanted to hear the excuse anyway.

Although flustered, Feng Dahai composed himself quickly. He forced a grin and replied with a low chuckle, "Of course, I know where the factory is, Young Master Lin. I apologize for the oversight. I didn't mean to disturb President Yan and yourself. I'll have the goods delivered to the proper location immediately. Please excuse me—I'll be heading out now."

With that, Feng Dahai turned and left in a hurry, almost as if fleeing.

He could still feel Lin Yuan's calm eyes on his back, as if the young man could see every thought and intention hidden within his mind. It made him feel naked, exposed, and profoundly uneasy. He had no clue what Lin Yuan was truly thinking.

And that was what terrified him.

Not only was he leaving the headquarters, he had also decided—without the slightest hesitation—to leave Jiangbei entirely. He couldn't bear to stay in a city where someone like Lin Yuan existed. It felt too dangerous. Too unpredictable.

As Feng Dahai's figure disappeared, Lin Yuan simply smiled faintly, watching him leave with no intention of stopping him.

He knew Feng Dahai's character better than the man himself did.

He could already tell that the visit today was nothing more than a curtain call—an empty show of loyalty before fleeing the stage entirely. Based on his behavior, Lin Yuan estimated that Feng Dahai would attempt to disappear from Jiangbei within three days at most.

But Lin Yuan had already made his decision.

He wouldn't let him get that far.

Tonight, he would take action.

Around them, the room was dead silent. The shareholders—both those who remained and a few who had returned out of curiosity—were stunned by everything they had just witnessed. No one had expected Feng Dahai to grovel so easily. The once-arrogant general manager, who had so boldly declared he would cut ties with Yanyue Company, had now come crawling back, acting as if Lin Yuan were royalty.

And not just that—the problem of supply had been completely resolved within the day.

To those watching, it was clear: Lin Yuan's influence and Yanyue Company's strength were far more formidable than anyone had previously imagined.

Some of the former shareholders were visibly shaken.

They had bet on the company's downfall when problems first arose. In a panic, they had withdrawn their shares, hoping to cut their losses early. But now? Watching as everything was resolved so efficiently—and seeing the kind of powerhouse Lin Yuan clearly was—they began to regret their decision deeply.

Not only had they turned their backs on President Yan Ruyue, they had also lost the opportunity to ride a wave of future success.

As the silence continued, Yan Ruyue stood up confidently and announced, "Aside from resolving the supply issue with the facial mask sheets, I have more good news. The problem regarding our product endorser has also been solved. Starting today, Li Feifei will serve as our long-term brand ambassador."

"Li…Li Feifei?!"

"The top pop idol? The queen of the new generation?!"

Gasps of disbelief echoed throughout the room.

Everyone present knew who Li Feifei was. She was not just a household name—she was a superstar, known across the entire country and even gaining traction internationally. Her influence among the youth market was massive. Having her endorse Yanyue's products would instantly catapult the brand's visibility and prestige to a whole new level.

Just as the shock from Yan Ruyue's previous announcement began to settle in the conference room, she stepped forward once more, her calm and confident voice drawing everyone's attention again.

"Additionally," she said, looking around the room of stunned shareholders and executives, "I will be splitting part of my shares with Lin Yuan. From this day forward, he will become a strategic partner and permanent collaborator of Yanyue Company."

The room fell dead silent.

Had she announced this earlier—before Lin Yuan showcased his overwhelming capability—it would have undoubtedly caused a storm of outrage. Many shareholders would have objected instantly, concerned that such a move would alter the company's internal power structure and eat into their own profits. They would have fought tooth and nail to prevent it.

But now?

Now, not a single word of protest came from the crowd.

Because everyone had just watched Lin Yuan single-handedly solve two of the company's most urgent crises—flawlessly, efficiently, and with an air of effortless composure. He had resolved the supply issue and secured a top-tier celebrity endorsement in mere hours. His influence, judgment, and reach were far beyond anything they'd expected.

He wasn't just competent—he was exceptional.

Yan Ruyue didn't stop there.

She raised her voice slightly to make sure everyone caught her next words.

"One more thing. Effective immediately, Yanyue Company will initiate procedures to delist from the public exchange. We are going private."

A thunderclap of shock swept through the room.

Going private?

A company of Yanyue's size and trajectory suddenly removing itself from the public market?

That was a move few had expected—and it instantly deepened the blow to those who had withdrawn their shares earlier.

Before this, many of them had hoped to return quietly and purchase stock through the open market once the company stabilized. But with this announcement, that door was now slammed shut in their faces.

There would be no more publicly traded shares.

No more chances to regain a foothold.

And no more opportunities to benefit from what was clearly becoming one of the most powerful business resurgences in recent memory.

Most of the current shareholders looked relieved and excited. Going private meant tighter control, faster decision-making, and a long-term vision unburdened by short-term market pressures. With Lin Yuan at the helm alongside Yan Ruyue, the future looked dazzling.

But those who had cashed out early?

They were left feeling like they had been locked out of paradise just as the gates opened.

Their faces betrayed them—even if they tried to maintain composure. Twitching eyelids. Trembling fingers. Eyes that kept darting toward the floor.

Regret hung heavy in the air like smog.

They had made a grave miscalculation.

Yanyue Company wasn't just recovering—it was ascending into a new era.

Chen Yue and the few who had unwaveringly supported Yan Ruyue from the beginning were elated. Although they clearly understood that Lin Yuan and Yan Ruyue were drawing a line in the sand—consolidating control and allowing minimal intervention in company decisions—they didn't mind at all.

Their equity remained untouched.

And with the company's valuation poised to skyrocket, their personal net worth would rise accordingly.

They stood to benefit immensely just by standing still.

As for the ones who had left? They could only exit the meeting room with their heads lowered and hearts filled with regret.

Except for one.

Just as most of the withdrawn shareholders began to file out quietly, one individual remained behind.

That man was none other than Zhang Zongliang.

With an exaggerated smile plastered across his face, he strode confidently toward Lin Yuan and Yan Ruyue, as if nothing had happened.

"President Yan," he said smoothly, "perhaps we can revisit the matter of share withdrawal and find a path to cooperation again? We are all people of vision, after all—surely there's room for flexibility?"

Before he could finish his oily pitch, Yan Ruyue waved her hand decisively.

"Security," she called out in a calm, cutting voice. "Escort this man out of the building—immediately."

Several guards, who had been stationed just outside the conference room, marched forward at once.

Zhang Zongliang's smile froze, his face contorting into indignation. He flicked his sleeves dramatically.

"Fine! I'll leave myself!" he snapped. "Now that the company's troubles are resolved, you just want to hoard all the benefits for yourself? Is that how you do business, President Yan?"
