{Chapter: 346 Why did you send them to the Yanyue headquarters?}
It made too much sense. Yan Ruyue had mentioned earlier that the problem was solved and credited Lin Yuan with the solution. Now, Feng Dahai was here, asking specifically to meet with "her boyfriend." There was no one else it could be.
The dots connected themselves.
It was Lin Yuan.
He was the one who had turned the tide.
Some of the shareholders now looked utterly humiliated. They had assumed Yan Ruyue was flailing. They thought she was doomed. But it turned out, she wasn't alone. She had an ace up her sleeve all along—Lin Yuan.
While everyone else gawked at him, Lin Yuan remained composed, as did Yan Ruyue. This wasn't a surprise to them. They had expected the delivery. The only unusual part was that Feng Dahai came in person and chose to deliver the goods to the headquarters instead of the factory as agreed.
Yan Ruyue glanced sideways at Lin Yuan, a silent question in her eyes: Do you want to see him?
Lin Yuan gave a small nod.
Without missing a beat, Yan Ruyue turned to her secretary and instructed, "Go downstairs and bring Feng Dahai to the meeting room."
"Right away, President Yan," the secretary—Xiaoyun—replied, bowing slightly before hurrying off.
As she turned to leave, Xiaoyun couldn't help but glance back at Lin Yuan, her eyes filled with admiration and a trace of disbelief. Who exactly was this man who had made the impossible happen with such ease?
The air in the conference room was thick with tension, realization, and a new kind of respect—one directed entirely at Lin Yuan.
'President Yan's boyfriend… he's far too mysterious—and far too powerful.'
'That cold and distant female CEO—someone who always keeps people at arm's length—was completely flustered this morning over the supply issue. And now look at her. Her clothes are wrinkled like she just went through a tornado, and she's calm as ever, acting like nothing happened.'
'The entire crisis at Yanyue? Solved in a blink, thanks to him.'
These were the thoughts swirling in Xiaoyun's mind as she hastily made her way downstairs. Just this morning, she had witnessed President Yan looking overwhelmed and exhausted, practically burning out under the pressure of the company's biggest crisis. But now—just a few hours later—Yan Ruyue looked transformed. Calm, composed, and almost radiant.
And it was all because of Lin Yuan.
Xiaoyun didn't dare to think further. She shook her head slightly to clear her thoughts and walked faster to meet Feng Dahai. Once she met him, she politely escorted him to the conference room upstairs.
Not long after, she returned, with a middle-aged man following behind her.
Several shareholders who had previously worked closely with Yanyue immediately recognized the man. Their eyes widened slightly.
"That's Feng Dahai!"
Indeed, it was him—the general manager and CEO of the Dahai Factory, the same man Yanyue Company had tried again and again to negotiate with. Their once-reliable supplier who had, up until this very afternoon, completely cut ties with them.
Feng Dahai looked just as they remembered—an honest face, rough around the edges, but not one to underestimate. Yet as he entered the room, the air seemed to shift.
People fell silent—not out of respect, but confusion.
After all, this man had been adamant. Repeatedly, he had told Yanyue representatives, even that very morning, that he would not continue doing business with the company under any circumstances. He had cited pricing issues, contract flexibility, and hinted at better offers elsewhere.
So what changed?
Why was he here now, in person?
As Feng Dahai walked in, his eyes didn't wander. He wasn't interested in the other executives or shareholders. He wasn't even paying attention to Yan Ruyue herself.
He was looking for someone else entirely.
He was looking for her boyfriend.
That mysterious man who, somehow, had turned the tables completely in just one morning.
It didn't take him long to find the one he was searching for. His eyes landed on the young man seated beside Yan Ruyue. Even though he had never seen Lin Yuan before, it was obvious to him.
This was the man.
The one with the confident posture, calm gaze, and presence that subtly demanded attention. His aura, despite his youth, somehow outshone even that of the glamorous President Yan.
Feng Dahai walked directly toward them, a rare, courteous smile on his face. He nodded politely to Yan Ruyue.
"Good day, President Yan," he greeted with forced warmth.
Yan Ruyue barely gave him a nod in return. Her expression was cold, even indifferent. She didn't smile. She didn't respond verbally.
Why should she?
If it weren't for Lin Yuan, this man would have shamelessly breached their contract, knowingly plunging her company into ruin—all for the sake of personal gain.
If anything, she found his presence irritating.
Still, Feng Dahai was not there to chat with her. He turned to Lin Yuan with a wider smile, his tone suddenly several degrees more respectful.
"You must be President Yan's boyfriend? My name is Feng Dahai. It is truly an honor to finally meet you."
Lin Yuan offered a mild smile and nodded politely. "Nice to meet you. I'm Lin Yuan."
"Oh—so it's Young Master Lin," Feng Dahai said, clasping his hands together, almost as if he were greeting royalty. His tone was practically reverent.
The room froze.
Everyone—shareholders, executives, assistants—watched the interaction with stunned silence. The notoriously proud and stubborn Feng Dahai was showing deference?
That same man who had brushed off even Yan Ruyue like she was just another business partner?
This level of respect was unheard of.
Yan Ruyue, despite her strong family background, had only ever received lukewarm acknowledgment from Feng Dahai. Yet this Lin Yuan, a man they knew almost nothing about, was being greeted like a nobleman.
Was the Lin Family actually that powerful?
Even if their influence rivaled that of the Yan family, Feng Dahai's sudden humility still didn't make sense.
What kind of leverage did Lin Yuan possess?
The room grew even more tense when Feng Dahai continued speaking.
"As per Young Master Lin's instructions," he said, his voice steady and respectful, "I've arranged for all the premium-quality facial mask sheets in my inventory to be delivered here immediately. Over a dozen trucks have already arrived downstairs. Since they're technically clearance goods, I'll be selling them to Yanyue Company for just a third of the original price."
He paused before adding, "Of course, the quality is fully guaranteed. They are the same high-end materials your company has always used."
Now, the atmosphere in the room was electric.
This wasn't just a peace offering. This was a total reversal of position.
The same Feng Dahai who had refused to sell even a single sheet that morning, who had walked away from the table like he held all the cards, was now practically giving away his best products—and delivering them himself.
And why?
For Lin Yuan.
Everyone stared, caught between disbelief and admiration. It was now obvious to all that Yan Ruyue hadn't been bluffing earlier when she said the problem was solved—and that Lin Yuan was the one who solved it.
But no one could understand how.
What did Lin Yuan say—or do—to make this man reverse his entire business stance in a matter of hours?
Whatever it was, it had to be something serious.
And then, Lin Yuan opened his mouth again, his voice calm and casual—too calm for someone being fawned over.
"Boss Feng," he said with a faint smile, "It's good that the facial mask sheets arrived in time. But I have to ask… why did you send them to the Yanyue headquarters? You do know where the Production Plant is, don't you?"
His tone wasn't harsh. It wasn't mocking. But it was deliberate.
It carried weight.
The kind of weight that only those truly in control could wield.
Everyone in the room was stunned once again.
Lin Yuan's casual tone was a complete contrast to Feng Dahai's near-desperate politeness. And yet, it was Lin Yuan who clearly held the power here.
Some of the shareholders even gulped.
They thought they had seen everything this afternoon.
But clearly… they were just getting started.
