Andy didn't speak, which didn't mean the frosty relationship between Arthur and Taylor would suddenly improve. It would only continue to remain stagnant, unless someone was willing to take a step back, in which case their relationship could instantly get better. But is there really anyone willing to yield?
Taylor was clearly not the kind of person who would yield. She stared at Arthur and said, word by word, "I'm leaving!" Spitting out these two words viciously, Taylor turned to leave.
Just as Taylor turned around, Arthur suddenly acted unpredictably, swaying his body to block Taylor's path, saying, "You come and go as you please. Do you really think I don't know you want to go meet up with Nameless and then come back to capture me?" His face carried a cold smile, a kind of sneer that indicated he had seen through someone else's plot. He believed he understood Taylor's intentions.
