Clangā!
A deafening crash split the air as the legendary Great Sage Equal to Heaven brought his massive staff down in a devastating arc. Blake reacted instantly, his sharp eyes narrowing as he raised his Holy Spear to block the incoming blow. The Golden Cudgel and the Holy Spear collided, unleashing a shockwave that shattered the air itself, sending white smoke and sparks flying in all directions. The sheer force of their clash twisted the atmosphere, generating swirling whirlwinds that rippled outward.
The sheer magnitude of their power was undeniable.
But neither combatant faltered. In the next moment, Blake and Sun Wukong fully unleashed their battle instincts, engaging in an explosive melee that blurred the line between myth and reality. The Holy Spear and Excalibur danced in Blake's grip, their arcs flawless and devastating, while the Golden Cudgel morphed and extended in Sun Wukong's hands, creating an unrelenting storm of blows.
The two warriors moved like twin meteors streaking across the sky, golden and crimson flashes weaving intricate patterns through the heavens. The speed of their strikes defied comprehensionāthousands of clashes in mere moments, their movements so fast that even the gods watching struggled to keep up. The impact of their collisions distorted space itself, warping the surroundings into chaotic whirlpools. And this was all without either of them tapping into their divine abilitiesāit was pure, raw power.
From the sidelines, Tsukiyomi's expression flickered with unease. The spectators watching the battle through their screens were left utterly bewildered. To the average person, bullets were already too fast to track, but this? This was beyond human perception.
"Campione, you're really something! It's been ages since I've fought someone who could go toe-to-toe with me like this!"
Sun Wukong laughed heartily as he was forced back, his golden eyes gleaming with exhilaration. Across from him, Blake stood his ground, clad in crimson armor, his face exposed to the wind. There was a wild, primal joy in his stanceāthis was the kind of battle he had longed for.
Blake exhaled slowly, reigning in his rising battle lust. "I'd love to keep this up, but I have unfinished business to handle first."
Sun Wukong blinked before glancing toward the distant figures of Tsukuyomi, Izanagi, and Izanami. His grin faded slightly as he scowled. The mere sight of the Japanese gods irritated him. After all, Susanoo had once sealed him away, and now these fools were standing in the way of his fun. His fiery temper flared.
Tsukuyomi, who had been lurking in the background waiting for an opening, suddenly found himself under the gaze of two terrifying beings. His smug confidence wavered.
"Campione, why don't we work together?" Sun Wukong suggested, twirling his staff. "I've got a score to settle with them too. Doesn't matter which one of us takes them out firstāonce they're gone, we can get back to our fight!"
Blake's crystal-blue eyes gleamed with consideration before he nodded. "Sounds fair."
"Haha! Now that's what I like to hear!" Sun Wukong roared with laughter before bursting forward in a streak of gold, his staff swinging down like a meteor.
Tsukuyomi's smug expression shattered. As Sun Wukong's golden cudgel descended, he scrambled to defend himself, summoning all his power in a desperate attempt to block the attack.
At the same time, Izanagi and Izanami tensed, their gazes darkening as they prepared to join the frayā
Puchiā!
A flash of light. A blur of motion.
Izanagi barely had time to react before Blake was upon him, Excalibur piercing straight through his heart.
"Gaā!"
Izanagi's eyes widened in shock. He could hardly believe what had happened. One moment he was preparing to fight, the next, he was skewered like a weakling. The sheer power behind the strike left him paralyzed, his divine blood spilling into the wind.
"Bastard!!"
Izanami's enraged scream echoed through the sky as she lunged at Blake, her hands wreathed in dark energy that pulsed with the power to distort time and fate itself.
Blake, however, remained utterly unfazed. Without a second thought, he yanked Excalibur free and tossed Izanagi's dying body aside. His Holy Spear morphed into a serpent-like arc, striking at Izanami with impossible speed and precision.
Under normal circumstances, she wouldn't have stood a chance.
Boomā!
Puchiā!
But just before impact, Izanami's outstretched palm twisted reality itself, causing the Holy Spear to distort unnaturally. Even so, the sheer force of Blake's attack was overwhelming. A deafening shockwave tore through the sky as Izanami was blasted backward, blood bursting from her lips as she plummeted to the earth. Like a falling star, she crashed into a distant mountain, triggering a devastating explosion that sent debris flying for miles.
Standing high above the battlefield, Blake observed the scene with an expression as cold as ice. He could sense Izanami's faint life force flickering within the rubble.
"Stubborn," he muttered. "Twisting causality like that is annoying, but it won't save her."
Dark clouds began to churn above, ominous and heavy. The air pressure shifted, and moments later, a torrential downpour began, drenching the burning battlefield below. This was no ordinary stormāit was Blake's doing. He had forced the heavens themselves to change.
Boomā!
A massive tornado materialized out of nowhere, its monstrous winds howling as it descended upon the wreckage. The cyclone grew, swallowing the ruined mountain whole, sucking up shattered stone, splintered trees, and even the last remnants of Izanagi's broken body.
A lone figure struggled within the stormāhelpless.
Those watching the battle through their screens felt a chill grip their souls. How many times had Blake shattered their understanding of power this month alone? It was impossible to count.
"It's time to end this," Blake declared.
As if responding to his words, the raging tornado contracted in on itself, compressing with terrifying force.
"Ahhhhhh!!!"
Izanami's final, anguished scream was drowned out as the violent winds tore her apart. Her divine barrier shattered like glass, her flesh ripped asunder, her existence erased.
For Blake, her beauty, her status, her divine lineageānone of it mattered. She was an enemy, and that was all the justification he needed.
The storm vanished as quickly as it had appeared. The debris and blood that had been caught in its fury rained down in eerie silence, thudding against the earth like the final drumbeats of war.
Blake exhaled slowly, turning toward the other side of the battlefield. Amidst the chaos, Sun Wukong was still engaged with Tsukiyomi, golden flashes lighting up the sky as the monkey king's staff battered his foe relentlessly.
"Sun Wukong, looks like you're a bit slow. I'm already done," Blake said with a teasing smirk.
Sun Wukong, who had been thoroughly enjoying himself, paused and turned to look at Blake with an expression of mild irritation. "Campione, you're really something. Now I've got to pick up the pace!"
With that, the monkey king gripped his cudgel tightly and redoubled his assault, overwhelming Tsukiyomi with a flurry of blows.
Blake, however, turned his gaze upward. The sky trembled. The full moon, once blood-red, pulsed ominously. Something was coming.
A shadow loomed over the world.
And for the first time in a long whileāBlake's expression grew serious.
