Aurora James - POV
Zander didn't come down to have breakfast, and as I walked back to the foyer, I saw him talking to Stella, who had a suitcase next to her. As I approached them, she looked at me, and a smile appeared on her face. This was the first time I saw her smile, and I felt a little better knowing that she was on board with this.
"Good morning, Mrs. Perez," she greeted me, and for a moment, I was stunned. Ever since my mating ceremony with Zander was over, no one really called me Mrs. Perez. They would either call me by my name or Miss James, but currently, they had started calling me Miss Garcia.
"Good morning, Stella. And please call me Aurora," I insisted, and she nodded her head.
"How is your mother?"
"Still the same. But she made me realize that my priority right now is to save the werewolf race," she asserted, and I nodded.
"So, shall we go?" I asked her, and she nodded.
