The man puffed out his chest and spoke as if he were doing them a great favor.
"I'm being generous here," he declared. "As long as you agree, everyone will have a nice day."
His proposal was simple, almost laughable.
He wanted to take over the venue before Adam and Mary, claiming it for his own wedding with his so-called beloved wife.
In exchange, he was willing to pay two million dollars.
To most people, that amount would have been staggering. Life-changing.
But to Aurora and the others, it meant nothing.
Aurora's eyes narrowed slightly.
'Our parents' wedding is not something that can be bought,' she thought.
Without hesitation, she rejected him. "No," she replied flatly. "We can't do that."
The others echoed her refusal, their stance firm and unyielding.
The man's face darkened, but he did not back down.
Instead, he sneered. "You wouldn't even know how to make proper use of a place like this," he scoffed.
