Chapter 266 - Chapter 266

Sora tried to argue, but Naruto had already dragged him away. Sasuke and Sakura had also left, and Kakashi was gone too. With no other option, Sora followed Naruto.

The two of them arrived at Ichiraku Ramen, where Naruto treated Sora to a bowl.

It seemed like Naruto wanted to befriend Sora. As they sat inside Ichiraku Ramen waiting for their order, Sora curiously asked,

"There was another man with the Hokage earlier. Who was that guy? He seemed to hold a high position."

This was because Sasuke seemed to regard Yoruha highly.

Naruto paused for a moment, realizing Sora was referring to Yoruha, and then he laughed,

"Oh, that guy? He's the Hokage's bodyguard, currently the strongest ninja in Konoha."

Sora was shocked, "That guy is the strongest ninja in Konoha? He's so young."

Initially, Sora did think Yoruha was powerful, especially since someone as strong as Sasuke valued him.

But hearing Naruto claim that Yoruha was the strongest ninja in the village was hard for him to believe.

After all, Yoruha looked so young, seemingly the same age as them.

Naruto, with a grin on his face, said, "What's so strange about that? Sasuke is strong, right? Even Sasuke isn't his match. What do you think?"

Since Naruto didn't see Yoruha as a rival at the moment, he genuinely acknowledged Yoruha's strength.

Sora was even more shocked, as he considered Sasuke to be the strongest ninja in Konoha.

And then there was Tsunade; her punch earlier had left a deep impression on him.

Sora thought for a moment and said, "If I get the chance, I definitely want to spar with him to see if he's really as strong as you say."

He had no objection to not being Sasuke's match, since Sasuke was an Uchiha with the Sharingan.

But Yoruha hadn't shown anything, and from his appearance, you wouldn't think he was that strong.

Sora was skeptical of Naruto's words. Hearing this, Naruto almost burst out laughing.

Holding back his laughter, Naruto seriously said, "Don't do that, you'll lose all your confidence."

Remembering his own encounters with Yoruha, Naruto considered them his most embarrassing memories.

Since graduating from the ninja academy, he had watched Yoruha grow stronger and stronger.

Even though he himself was getting stronger, the gap between them only widened.

Now, Naruto didn't even know how strong Yoruha truly was, because no one had managed to push him to his limits.

Not even a strong ninja like Sasuke could do it. So when Naruto heard Sora wanting to test Yoruha's strength, he almost died laughing at his ignorance.

In Naruto's eyes, Yoruha wasn't just the strongest ninja in Konoha, but the strongest in the entire ninja world.

Even when Naruto fully transformed into the Tailed Beast, it didn't pique Yoruha's interest. The same went for when he teamed up with Sasuke.

But Sora didn't believe it. He thought Naruto was just hyping Yoruha up. Afterward, Sora stayed in Konoha for several days.

He wanted to find a chance to challenge Yoruha but couldn't find him. Yoruha was either at the Hokage's office or at home, rarely coming out. Naturally, Sora couldn't find him.

However, Sora did grow fond of Konoha Village, as there were no monks treating him coldly here.

The Mind of a Ninja. Just as Sora was about to propose to Tsunade his desire to become a ninja in Konoha, the village's alarm suddenly blared.

Yoruha, who was reading on the rooftop of the Hokage building, also lifted his head.

Muttering to himself, he said, "It's finally happening, huh? But I still won't intervene. Let Naruto and Sasuke handle it." As long as Naruto and Sasuke could resolve the situation, Yoruha was determined not to step in.

Meanwhile, in the forest on the outskirts of Konoha's residential area, Kazuma, one of the Twelve Guardian Ninja, was conversing with Sora, revealing to him that he was a pseudo-Jinchuriki.

However, Kazuma did not release the seal within Sora just yet.

If the resurrected Twelve Guardian Ninja could successfully execute the Lightning Dream Thunder technique, he wouldn't need Sora to attack Konoha.

At this moment, a massive amount of earth appeared on the outskirts of Konoha's residential area.

After breaching the walls of the residential area, the earth surged into the district.

Emerging from this earth were people—all of whom were from other ninja clans of the Land of Fire that had been attacked previously.

These ninjas were clearly deceased; they were zombies. Yet, they retained the abilities they had in life, making them quite difficult to deal with.

Tsunade immediately issued orders for the village's ninjas to repel the attacking ninjas.

Yoruha, however, seemed oblivious to the assault, calmly continuing to read on the rooftop. Tsunade didn't issue any orders to him either.

Tsunade's approach mirrored Yoruha's; as long as the village's other ninjas could handle the task, she wouldn't involve Yoruha.

Much like the Hokage being the last line of defense, in Tsunade's eyes, Yoruha was Konoha's ultimate safeguard.

If a crisis arose that necessitated his involvement, it would be of a village-destroying magnitude, one that neither Sasuke nor she could resolve.

So far, Tsunade hadn't encountered such a crisis. Thus, she issued various commands, none of which involved Yoruha.

Yoruha was naturally content with this leisure, as the chaos outside had nothing to do with him.

He sat on the rooftop reading, and despite it being nighttime, the moonlight was bright. Even without it, his vision wouldn't be affected.

Unexpectedly, Yoruha's presence seemed to have triggered some changes.

The originally impossible Lightning Dream Thunder technique was successfully activated. A dazzling lightning flash appeared over Konoha.

Yoruha, who was reading, looked up to see the complex runes and the brilliant lightning.

He was somewhat surprised, "It actually succeeded. It seems some changes have occurred." However, Yoruha was merely surprised, not afraid.

"Where's Sasuke? Didn't he go to stop the caster?" Yoruha expanded his sensory perception.

He finally located Sasuke outside Konoha. Sasuke and Naruto were searching for Sora, completely unaware that the Lightning Dream Thunder had been successfully activated.

Sakura, on the other hand, was entangled by Kazuma's two subordinates.

Sakura's fighting style was different from Kazuma's subordinates, causing her significant trouble.

She finally managed to take down one of them, only to find that the other not only could use various ninjutsu but also had multiple lives.

Although not very powerful, it was certainly annoying.

Asuma didn't break free from the jutsu trapping him using his chakra blade ring as he did in the original story.

When the Lightning Dream Thunder was activated, the commotion was immense. Tsunade, in the Hokage's office, also sensed the terrifying power it contained.

This jutsu could indeed destroy the entire Konoha, and no one could stop it. Quickly, Tsunade thought of something.

She looked towards the rooftop of the Hokage building. She hurriedly made her way there. At this moment, Yoruha was putting down his book and standing up.

"This is a bit troublesome," Yoruha said, looking up. Just then, the lightning in the sky had fully gathered.

A "crack" sound could be heard as the thunder roared. All the villagers of Konoha looked up at the dazzling lightning in the sky with fear.

Naruto and Sasuke, who were pursuing Sora outside the village, also looked back at Konoha with worried expressions.
